(The Cool Kids All Wear) Band T-Shirts
-
Awesome thread @setandsetting and cheers to @jordanscollected
Will definitely contribute soon. But as I'm on vacation in my parents house right now I just took some random shirts that I got in the 90s. Will update soon, I fear I'm in the 100s by far right now.

@Max Power is going to own this thread very soon if he has the time and drive.
Challenge accepted.
Here's a Hallogallo shirt, circa 2010. Michael Rother/Steve Shelley/Aaron Mullen playing Neu!/Harmonia/Rother solo songs.

I've been wearing a lot of Behemoth shirts lately. Their quality is amazing compared to regular (chinese) bandshirts. Everything they sell is made in Poland. I love that their tags say :"100% satanic"

I have a ton of band shirts but pretty much only wear them for lounging these days. Here’s one of my favorites.

Great Melvins shirt @Palmer
Here's a little Acid Mothers Temple tie die. I don't know why this came out so pixelated.

From their final tour. -
Converge/Jane Doe -
Nice Jane Doe shirt. I can't even recall how many times I've listened to that album over the years. It's cool that Nate and Jacob sport Iron Heart!

Nice! I saw them perform in Baltimore back in 2007 or maybe 2008. They are some wild dudes as I am sure you know.

They were both active forum members a while back… Giles took the gang to see Converge in London last time they played there.
I remember seeing their names pop up when I first joined the forum and was digging around in the older threads. The hardcore scene was actually how I first discovered the world of nice denim. Lots of Nudie and APC stuff back then. I only knew of 501s before that.

Oh man this is a great thread idea. I need to dig out some of my old ones.
-
Okay, I dug through the bowels of my closet and dug up a few favorites.
(Sorry for the image heavy post). This is probably the oldest shirt I still own. It used to have long sleeves and was gotten from Neil Robinson at Tribal War records some time in the early to mid 90s.
I wish I had a few of my old Nausea shirts from this era. But they were either lost or stolen when I was homeless.
This is probably my next oldest, from Blue Grape mail order.
I traded for this shirt to the woman who ran Profane Existence in the late 90s. I remember having to call and send emails to get my shirts in return. I still wear this shirt today. It is 50/50 poly-cotton so it hasn't disintegrated yet.Another favorite that's so old I am afraid to wear it.
On the back:
Another oldie but goodie.
More old shirts. The Danzig one is ancient.
A bunch of DOOM shirts.
I was gonna take pictures of the front and backs of a lot more. But I got lazy.
