My trusty Quickmill QM67 and Niche grinder. Using Caffe Lusso Gran Miscela Carmo beans for the last 2 years… and probably will continue to, until they stop making it. Cortados and Capps most mornings, and an occasional afternoon double shot. Cheers!!

Morning cappuccino in a earthenware mug from Japan. I’m pretty sure it’s not handmade, but made to look like it….
Attaching some picture of the kanji script… anyone here read Kanji and might be able to interpret?

I should add that I bought this mug in 2009 at a Japanese home goods department store. A step above Target… but a step below Williams Sonoma… if that makes sense.

Nasty weather day here. Listening to OMD “Dazzle Ships” on repeat and getting some stuff done. Wife and kid are out of state, so it’s just me and Rocco. Probably gonna light a fire and watch a good movie.

@Matt Rocco is Mr Bad Attitude. That’s why we love him. He’s a 180LB mastiff in a 30LB Boston’s body. Could car less about chasing squirrels or protecting the house. He just sneers at strangers and that usually keep the distance. He refuses to snuggle, even with his mom, and he’s generally indifferent to the 3-year old boy. 9 years old this summer. I guess we’ll keep him.

I threw out all my alcohol related glasses thus clearing space for some new ceramics... 28cls for tea (normally latte coffee but I don't drink that) and 18cls for coffee.

Not even (too) expensive imo... Under 38€ for the lot. Nice to have a store nearby that sells these (10' walk).
Black/ white mug wasn't planned cause it didn't "pop" online, but I loved it IRL and just "had" to add it...
