I publish, paint, teach Fine Art...! The paintings I make are of the same thinking as collecting fades — natural wear, sun bleaching, hard wearing things...IMG_0903.JPG
The books are about collecting a history — mainly a photographic history of Britain and Ireland from 1960ish (two books with American subjects here too), the website is Café Royal Books

Yaaaas @Oaktavia!!! I had a feeling you had more up your sleeve after the first post. No doubt pick up the bike and get going again this year.
@craigatkinson so what you are saying is your paintings are continuously evolving even after “finished/framed”? Rad if so

Currently working on a sports stadium series. Fenway Park oil painting nearing the finish line. Just need to finish off the foreground light post and touch up some other areas.

I went to school for design and illustration but I primarily paint with oils now. I currently have these paintings (and others) at Mortal Machine Gallery in New Orleans.
My recent work is all about living in the American Southwest and offering an unidealized view of my home. The Modern West.

@SKT Thanks SKT! My work hasn’t been out in the world lately, so it’s great to hear. Best!

@Palmer really cool Palmer.

Mess in progress! It’s a small windowless studio and I’m constantly tripping over myself and paint cans on the floor

wow, really great stuff all over this forum, this is my first time diving into all the non-denim stuff, and I'm in awe at the scope of passion this community has for all crafts. Here's one of mine!
