IHSH-349-GRN - 9oz Selvedge Ombré Check Work Shirt - Green

@HalfPastNever interesting you're making this point in this particular threat. To me the 349 is just perfect, in pattern and colour. But that is a matter of taste, and I wouldn't wear a lot of other flannels that are around. Also, I don't wear hoodies, while others came here for them. To me Ironheart offers many ways of slightly different styles under one umbrella. Pick the stuff you like, and leave the rest. Be yourself, or find it in case you're still searching. But don't expect to find the style that 'hits the mark' generally. Individuality is beauty.

@HalfPastNever in my opinion in the American was the number one for original heritage retro back in the days 40s 50 60 70 80 they was setting the trends with the original sewing machine quality was at the highest you know Big Mac Levi’s ect then they sold the union machine best thing ever made right, then then Japan came along and bought them from the states and recreated with there skill set what America first started and continue today This is why I’m here today to appreciate what was done and what is continued.
just my 2cents -
@Matt I love that yellow one what size is it,shhhh I won’t tell anyone
-
Hopefully I should collect mine today from Rivet N Hide so I’ll post later
-
Visit to the rivet and hide for collection great to see the guys Jnr as always love there store and the shirt says it all
-
@Mindfulbiscuit its a lovely shop, and the shirt/paints/trainers combo looks superb.
-
Thank you,the shop I could live there

I received the green ombré shirt and it came as a surprise because I ordered the indigo version but the guys from IH Germany obviously made a mistake…
Anyways, I decided to try it and it is really beautiful. It will be a great shirt from spring and early autumn, it will not be suitable for hot summer days.
Quality is as expected - Iron Heart level and attention to detail. I am in dilemma now - whether to keep it or to return it for what I have ordered.
For info: I am 185 cm (6ft 2”), 82 kg (181-182 lbs) and I am wearing my usual size L.

@Cskarev nice one mate!
-
@Cskarev definately keep it. Looks great!
-
@jerkules haha, yeah, I was thinking the same. Someone got (un)lucky like me
@Zee-Boo I will keep it. It is truly a great shirt. And it gives me the opportunity to buy the indigo version in western style…if my wife approves
But all in all, I am really happy with the shirt. It is beautiful, great colours, great fit, nice materials and details. -
Welcoming party of new member to the shelf.
Ombrè pattern toned down and highly recommended for daily work wear. -
Surprised these aren’t sold out yet!
Hopefully there’s a XXL still around by the Fall.

Hot take:
Sub-par, commercial brands are making patterns that a lot of people like this year, because they watch brands like IH and copy them the following season.
The amount of times in the last 10 years I’ve seen items in a high street store and thought “IH made the proper version of that two years ago”. Doesn’t make the version from Uniqulo, The Gap or whatever other half ass brand any good. It’s still a crappy shirt whether it has last years or this this years pattern. @HalfPastNever
@Cskarev looks boss mate. Great fit and a perfect colour way for you.
@Mindfulbiscuit killer with the ducks. And Junior. Junior makes everything look amazing.

To be fair, UES had some pretty horrid-looking colorways this past fall. (And some nicer ones as well.) Even when IH puts out a colorway that I don’t care for, it’s never that bad.

I've never worn much green, but I just know my Irish ancestors were looking down on me smiling as I ordered this.
