IHSH-358-IND - 5oz Dobby Cloth Work Shirt - Indigo
-
I caved also.. and went slightly oversized to keep the air circulation on those warm summer days...
-
If these hang around for a bit I’ll probably cave in with plans to turn it into a SSSS
(short sleeve summer shirt )
-
should be interesting fades
-
Today I took delivery of what will probably be the lightest IH parcel I ever receive
This is every bit as good as people have been saying and it reminds me a lot of other (pre-IH) summer weight indigo shirts in my wardrobe (not a bad thing). I thought the comparison was interesting - top to bottom PBJ gauze, 358, Lee 101 overhead shirt from ages ago.

@ARNC that’s some cool shot! It seem to havy a lot of different shades of blue! Cool!

@SKT thanks! ️

you guys wearing shirts like this with T-shirt (to minimize washing), or without (making real use of the breathability of the thin fabric)? I am tempted to go without, and just accept frequent washing...
-
I love this shirt. I had to buy one for my boys. It feels so good. Usually worn untucked!
-
Outstanding! I hope they enjoy it as much as we do!
I blew all of by 2023 budget on IH SS23…and made this “work shirt” work for a formal outing. This one did the trick as an unexpected heat wave in British Columbia had us in 30deg C direct sun for a few hrs. The dobby cloth is really something else. The face of the fabric was hot to touch but kept me so much cooler on inside. I’d likely purchase another if this gets run next year in another color (tonal stitching ️).
