@Nik what do you recommend for fueling during long runs? I did my longest run ever yesterday at 25km, and felt my body shutting down on me at the 21km mark.
I did it fasted at 6am, as I do all my runs, but I feel like I need to take more care with fueling and hydration if I'm gonna push towards to marathon mark by the end of the year.

@T4920 Wow a fasted 25km is impressive! I usually take water and nutrition for any session longer than 1 hour 15 mins. Pro cyclists eat between 100-200(!) carbs an hour but I am usually somewhere around 50 running or cycling, and while Clif Bloks are my favourite, I like trying out different options. Maurten gels are still having a moment but I'm not on that hype train. I've tried most kinds of gels, drinks, and then there are always the simple things like a banana, some dates, flapjacks, etc. Probably for running easiest is gels or clif bloks. Some have caffeine too which can be a useful nutritional stimulant to throw in the mix. It's all about experimenting to see what you like thew taste of and what makes you feel strong and fast and what doesn't make you feel sick and vomit. Let us know how it goes.
