Heartbreaking news for sure @Matt
I picked up the debut Smiths album not long after it’s release. It made a big impression on me, but shortly after, my cousin shared a live bootleg tape with me that featured the song Barbarism Begins At Home.
This one song amazed me and lead to a life long obsession with the band. I would constantly listen & rewind the track over & over - Andy’s bass line was hypnotic. To this day the funkier Smiths tunes are always my favorites.Later in life I was able to purchase the bass from Andy that he used for the album recording of BBAH.
RIP Andy Rourke.

Finally got to see Billy Strings. Holy shit. What an incredible show. The whole band is incredible, and Billy Strings showed a level of mastery of his craft that I hadn't seen before in video recordings of his shows. Some of the shows that I've watched online from 3-4 years ago are great, but what I witnessed last weekend was on a whole other level.

Love her. RIP.
Love the new Murlocs album. This isn’t my favorite song from it but it’s the single / video that’s been released. I highly recommend listening to the whole thing, excellent wire to wire.

@seawolf they’re insane eh? And the addition of Alex is absolutely perfect. I can’t imagine a better live music experience right now.

@mclaincausey I was so happy that they had a fiddle on stage! It seemed like such a no-brainer. They're such pros, and I'm in total agreement with you there. I cannot imagine a better live act either. So. Good.

@seawolf Totally opposite end of the the musical spectrum, but I think Foo Fighter’s shows are going to be off the hook. The band seems to be significantly energized by the new drummer. I feel like Taylor played in the band whereas this guy is,very clearly, driving the bus, with Dave’s approval.

@Jett129 thats what I was thinking, he is hitting hard. must have his kit bolted to the stand The hardest working guy on any stage
