IHJ-103-IND - 12oz Wabash Chore Jacket - Indigo
-
@Oroccoco thank you for your breakdown! Much appreciated ️
-
@themage subliminal messages like that can be very effective!! I got a lovely wedding watch from the Mrs. that way!! Maybe wabash and wedding watch alliterate enough that you’ll have the same great results!!
- experiment #2 for this thread. Perhaps listed as an outlier variable

It shrunk quite a bit more and fits like a glove now. I had it the water at 190-210F lots of stirring and gradually letting the temperature down. 40 mins of that and then thrown into the dryer until dry. From there I wetted the honeycomb area to reset the creases and will wear to bed tonight and to work tomorrow.

@Mizmazzle Greats minds my friend lol
-
@Oaktavia Holy shit! I love this
-
@Oaktavia If your old lady cuddles with you and creates "Friction" on the garment I won't consider that cheating on your fades.
-
Good call on power boiling that jacket @Oaktavia --thought it looked too big in the classroom pic. Shoulders looked big, which in turn makes the whole fit too big.
How did the sleeve length hold up? -
@dinobarnesberlin yeah overall I was thinking it could use more shrink. Sleeve length shrunk more and it looks and feels better. I'll take another pic at work later and show you.
-
Would love to see this
-
@Oaktavia yea do that--I bet its like night and day
-
Quick lunchbreak photos @dinobarnesberlin @doubletee I feel the overall fit of the jacket has shrunk, what do you think?
-
That did the trick @Oaktavia ---still some room the way a shop jacket should fit, but it sure does look better now.
Let the abuse begin! -
@dinobarnesberlin I agree, these sorts of jackets are supposed to be loose, which is why I wanted one. Happy I boiled it though, because it was defo too loose. I love it now and it is super comfortable like a pajama shirt. Plus, it'll fit over 99% of my wardrobe.

Fits like a glove man, love the look!
