Snap Upgrades

Has anyone put copper snaps on the JC? I like the black on black but maybe a top and two pocket copper snaps would punch it up a bit.

Thanks Adam!

I think of that as a true pearl snap (though the term is used colloquially I think for any Western snap shirt) versus a MOP snap.

I'm guessing this has been answered before, but what size are the copper snaps? wanting to add a couple extra of the male ends to the cuff of my 292 and thinking of trying to do it myself. I have access to a press, do I need to use that?

Hey @Graham sorry if this has been asked/answered but does upgrading the snaps delay shipping times much? I want to buy the Cash work shirt and upgrade the snaps for a trip in a couple of weeks. Thanks a ton! So cool you guys offer this.

Perfect, thank you @Giles you guys are the best

Giles beat me to it! We do indeed aim for same day but next day at the latest for sure.

So cool you offer this, I’ve never thought about upgrading but I just placed an order. Can’t wait! Thanks again

@Graeme
”Has anyone pimped an IHJ-104 chore coat?I've got a black one, and keep on thinking it would look good with the black heavy duty snaps. I'm not sure if they'd be too small, though.”
@Graham ” That is not something we have done and the black HD's are slightly smaller than the brass that are on there so would change the look quite drastically and there also may be a mark left from the outer ring of the old snaps as the blacks are smaller.
Copper would be a good choice as they are the same size as the brass.
If we ever do one with black snaps you can rest assured that they will be posted in here as well and I will make sure to tag you ”

…so I did this with the copper snaps but hadn’t considered the male part on this was also brass. Figured they were silver. Kinda wish I had known that, because mismatch has opposite effect that I was going for muted look on black chore.Wondering what can be done about this. Maybe y’all can point me at the tool and copper male parts so that I can replace the brass?

maybe a sharpie? or some type of nail polish?
