Watches - another OCD problem
-
@JDelage actually was late 2021 but, after one follow-up in early 2022, I sort of forgot about it and moved on. So when the AD emailed and asked if I was still interested maybe a month ago, I said sure, and then about a week later was told they had one reserved for me.
Moral of the story is apparently to not care too deeply and then maybe it will show up.

@Manticore lovely pick up, congratulations. I still regret selling mine. I was interested in the Tudor Black Bay version until I had the watch in hand, the Tudor cases are very slab sided and bulky. Rolex definitely have kept the better case designs to themselves.

@Cole not gonna tell us what you want? Fine then

@Cole I was eyeing up an Omega CK 859 with 30% off over the summer.
Unfortunately, I couldn't reclaim VAT on it (thanks Brexit), and would have been liable for GST and import duty on return to Australia.
So it didn't happen...

@Cole I wouldnt turn that down if you can help it. I have been waiting on my 75th anni but I would take the Bond over it any day at that price.

Yes I know, but 7.5k € is more then I can spare at the moment, even if it is a very good price for a brand new, somewhat limited, Omega with all the paperwork.
Plus I allready own the very first Bond Omega, which makes it very hard to explain to my wife, why this one is also very appealing.

Brand new out of the plastic Seamaster 75th Anniversary with a pour of Jefferson’s Ocean

@Anesthetist nice! Weren't you eyeing one of those up a few months ago?
Now put it on one of the Omega mesh bracelets!
-
@Anesthetist Very nice. Are you loving the dial? What's it like in different light? I've had a bit of a soft spot for the Vintage version of Seamaster 300 75th.
-
@Graeme I was! I had seen one at our local omega boutique and got in contact in my authorized dealer that discounts. I had to wait a few months but saved quite a bit of money and taxes so that’s a win for me!
-
@Mr-Linz I like it very much and Omega’s press release photos dont do it justice. It was dark when I got home last night so I’ll get some sunny pics today
