@Denimhead-0 favorite martini, makes me want to listen to blues and or jazz or both!

The classics are classic for a reason. @Jett129 thats an obtainable botttle and truly a marvel at its price point unless things have changed.

@mclaincausey Unfortunately the liquor stores that I frequent and have access to all carry the same mundane brands. When I travel I like to pop into local liquor stores in hopes of finding something like that on the shelves. Not sure if it’s a function of what’s available in my locale,or just not what’s the most profitable for them ,or a combination of both.

I haven’t bought this McKenna since it was half the price, but this lone bottle was on the shelf next to Elijah Craig toasted barrel at the same price. I decided that a 10 year age statement BiB single barrel was the better choice.

@WhiskeySandwich You’re preaching to the choir. I’ve gotten tired of getting gouged on bourbon bottles that I used to get for a fraction of their current price. Been drinking and enjoying a lot more agave based spirits because of that. I think that Eagle Rare that I last was able to purchase at $34.99 was one of the best values in bourbon. These days, you’re lucky to find it for less than $60 a bottle. I could go on and on. Don’t even get me started on the Van Winkle 12 year rye.

That’s crazy it’s a mainstream Beam / Suntory product so I’d expect it to be everywhere. It’s worth a try especially at its <$30 price point

@Jett129 I know it. Russell’s Reserve 10 has be my latest go-to but sometimes it’s nice to revisit the past regulars.
