I have read that the slub denim breathes the best of all denim that Iron Heart uses. Will the overdying effect how well it breathes? Looking for a summer pair.
-
@Alex I might have missed the memo...
The section description says ''See what items we have in the pipeline that are not part of a dedicated seasonal collection''. My interpretation is that things we see here are in the various stages of production lifecycle.
I like that the section exists, giving a sort of heads-up. -

Has there been any feedback on how much leg twist is observed? Is it expected to be the same for both the indigo & OD versions? I expect there isnt feedback on this yet for the OD version. But maybe there is feedback on the indigo/non-OD version?
-
The overdyed process removes all shrinkage from the fabric so leg twist should be a non issue.
-
In general skew is associated with unsanforized and non washed fabric. I think the slb is both sanforized and once washed so skew should be minimal if any.

@ler224 See Here for a previous question regarding the indigo version and @Giles answer to the question quoted below.
@Giles said in IH-777S-SLB - 16oz Slubby Selvedge Denim Slim Tapered Cut Jeans - Indigo:
Unless all the character is sucked out of a denim by skewing it massively post weave, it will be prone to some skew (if it is left or right hand twill, that is). Different batches of the same denim will skew differently, so will jeans sewn on different sewing machines. Don’t fight it, celebrate it (or stick with broken twill or plain weave)…..

My pair arrived today. Looking forward to beating these things up. Not much discussion on the bottoms as of yet, so I am hoping to change that. The jackets I have seen are looking amazing so far, hoping the bottoms evolve just as nicely. The texture is so interesting, I have 16oz slubs and 14oz overdye, so this combo should be killer!

I come from wearing the 777
These are tag 35. Maybe a 36 would be better?
