After posting in the "Where are you from"-thread, I missed reporting in this newbie area. But not any longer:
I am living near Cologne in Germany, being busy earning my next pair of vintage style denim and looking forward to talk to other denim anoraks. Been on this forum for five days and I suppose I am already addicted. This looks like fun!

I missed this thread somehow.
I was born on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation but grew up on a small cattle ranch in Northern Colorado (where I live now). I spent some time in San Francisco. Thats were my buddy told me about IH. I grew up wearing workwear on the ranch. I also have been working on cars and motorcycles most of my life. I demand top quality out of my hard use items..especially my jeans. I have found everything I need with IH. I bougt 3 pairs of jeans in the past 4 months. The 9634Z, 634S, and 634S-B. I love them all and everytime I wear them the only get better!

Hello!
New here, thought I'd participate in a few forum threads starting with this one.
After deciding earlier in the year that I wanted to buy a few pairs of decent jeans I decided to make one pair IH. After staring longingly at the 21oz variations I decided to start off with something a little lighter… Then I saw the Devil's Fit OD. Some financial shuffling later and here I am.
A belated thanks to Giles for keeping me updated with the shipping at every turn.

Yes, it's just over two months now, they've had one wash. I'll upload some photos when I get chance. Just so comfortable!

Hello!
I am new here and discovered the world of IH last year at DC4 in Berlin, where I live, looking for a flannel shirt. I had been looking for one in Tokyo on my last business trip (Harajuku, Shibuya but did not see the IH shop) but they all had arms that were too short for a tall guy (Studio d'artisan, Edwin and all small shops there whose names I had never heard of and forgot since). So back in Berlin I went to DC4 and looked at their flannels… got myself a IHSH23. Daniel as a good sales guy introduced me to their new IH DC4001. 2 weeks later I was back in the shop and got myself a pair, was getting too much on my mind even at the price.
Some months later, I got in touch with Giles and managed to buy a SH37 in blue when the restock came. And because I can not stay in my 21 oz. jeans when the temperature is above 25°C, cycling to work becomes a sweating experience... I am expecting a Triple Works.
I guess I will be more of a reader than a writer but will try to stay tuned.I like my jeans raw, I do not like them fading, which is why I got the permanent dye for the TW. And I wash them every month or so. So I guess I ought to change my text from Raw and unwashed to Really raw but washed.
Anyway glad to be here.
