Agreed, and I’m not adding Peacock.
Playoff games need to be widely available IMO. I hope this blows up in their face.

I do to,but I fear this is just the beginning. A friend of mind said, well I’ll go to a sports bar and see it. I said to him you’re gonna drop $70-$80 on food and drinks,so you don’t have to pay $6. Yeah you showed them.

I guess technically it would reduce the ratings. I’m hoping for low ratings and a flop.
Why can’t they use the tried and true model of monetizing via advertisement sales?

@mclaincausey The only thing I can think of,and I'm not looking to defend them, is that this game was always scheduled to be part of NBC's package, and since it's on late, and Saturday, they didn'twant to take a chance on it running into SNL. There's a post I saw going around Facebook imploring people not to sign up for it, as this will eventually lead to The Superbowl being a Pay Per View.

Still debating with wife on what we are going to do. @mclaincausey I am with you it’s the principality of it. I already got a bunch of streaming services that I am currently trying to get rid of. I know I will spend more at my local sports bar, but at least the money is going to local people in the community, not a bunch of suits! If NFL continues with a PPV format, I will find something else to do with my spare time. I am not mad or upset, just frustrated I don’t like when greed is put above all the loyal fan bases across the sport.

Temperatures in Miami are in the high 20s, so the differential is well over 40’C. 🥶

@Mizmazzle I hate when they post those stats. Talk about jinxes. True story…Many years ago a group of Vegas dealers pooled their money and bet on a football game, with the plan that they would keep rolling the money over until they lost. Well it’s the end of the season and their bankroll is well over 6 figures, and Miami is coming to Chicago to play the Bears in a blizzard. Of course they bet the Bears and the Dolphins won. Regardless of the stats their still going to play the game.If the Chiefs continue to drop passes, get penalties and turn the ball over, maybe Miami and The Cheetah get the win.

@Jett129 @Mizmazzle yeah for real those stat talks are alway a jinx. The other day UCF played KU in their first big 12 meet up, @UCF. Right before game announcer said it was only the second time in history that the arena was sold out. I knew right then KU was done for.
. Glad to see the CO buffs back int the big 12!
BTW did anyone see the Tyreek Hill interview? Loved his response when asked about the cold.

@Mizmazzle Check out the Holdovers and if you’re a Pete Davidson fan they have his series Bupkus.
