@mclaincausey I love rally but don’t really know where to reliably watch it. Same as F1 until just last year when I found it on Hulu with the Disney/espn triple pack
-
@WhiskeySandwich unfortunately for me it’s gonna require a subscription

What on god’s green earth is FIA doing with announcing an investigation into a “conflict of interest” for the Wolffs? Of course there’s a conflict of interest: a FOM member is married to a team owner and principal. There’s nothing wrong with that and nothing they should be able to do about that.
The question is whether she acted on that conflict of interest, and they should investigate quietly if and only if they have non-tabloid evidence of such and only speak about it when they’re ready to bring formal accusations.
I doubt there’s another organization capable of doing what FIA does for F1 but this is absolutely pathetic and embarrassing.
-
That is an interesting change up. I for one like the Ferrari pair and thought they did well together despite strategy and pit issues. An early start to the 2025 silly season?
-
Great for the sport. I feel like they need a strong driver like Schumacher was. Leclerc is a great qualifier at least and maybe a great racer but he goes along to get along and doesn’t challenge Ferrari’s dumb decisions enough.
-
Sainz to RBR and Albon to Merc?
-
@Giles Guess you'll be wearing red next season?
-
doesn't matter who goes where. but I'm questioning the motive for it to be announced this early, and better yet, the 2024 season hasn't even started. Heck the cars hasn't even been revealed.
-
@louisbosco
No different to football would have been found out sooner rather than laterPlus from Mercs perspective Russel moves up to spot 1 and Lewis will be in the shadow much like last season just now they can actually admit to it
Curious as to the end of this season as to who will move to Mercedes
-
Even though it seems like a vicious move, part of the rationale for the early notification could have been to give Merc time to prepare. I also think a farewell tour will be kind of cool and bittersweet.

Go get your last title with Mercedes, that would be so brilliant. Especially if it went down to the last race of the season and Lewis won because the race director made the wrong call....
-
I’d love that. Then honor the tradition of a former champion languishing at Ferrari
But seriously I hope he gets 9 or 10

I was thinking of subscribing to F1 TV this year instead of watching on HULU since their coverage is inconsistent. Anybody have experience with this? How do you watch?
-
@WhiskeySandwich F1TV but I prefer the Sky commentary, so I do both and synchronize. We use our subscriptions to set up a pit wall so we can watch and hear all the different drivers and have the graphs and track views available. The little segment and sector view tracker in the app is my favorite, it basically gives you prescience because you can easily compare how people are performing within the sectors.
-
@mclaincausey good tip thanks man! And Alonso is the man
-
I watch via an F1TV subscription and the excellent (free) MultiView app (https://multiviewer.app/). I’m not sure how it works in other countries, but I’m able to access the “International” commentary feed (which is the same as the Sky F1 commentary audio) as an alternative to the F1TV commentary.
-
F1TV has both commentaries available. I think it’s worth having.
They need to make the WRC TV app worth a shit next.
