IHJ-64-BLK - Horsehide Modified Type III Jacket - Black (Tea-Core Dyed)

@Transporter Love the SLGC001!!

@Molle Yessir! Another GS guy! Thanks, Brother. I dig everything about the Tentagraph. Seems to be my go-to watch more than others in the rotation these days. Wears so well, and endlessly interesting perfection in the details. Just have to stop checking out the Mt. Iwate dial in the sun when I drive so I don't end up in a collision.
I altered the sleeves and removed the cuffs of this J-64 jacket, specifically to accommodate the watches. Works great!

Great! I have been hooked on GS since 2004.
Are you on IG? This is me: https://www.instagram.com/68molle?igsh=MWN4ODVzc2JneGY3Mw%3D%3D&utm_source=qr -
@Molle Alas, not on IG. I save that rabbit hole for others.
-
@T4920 It's perfect for me, well done!!!
-
Perfect
-
@T4920 Yep great fit

Personally, I prefer a slightly tighter fit on a TIII, BUT 99 out of 100 people put on a bit of weight as they get older, so as a lifetime jacket, perfect.
I have a load of expensive lifetime shit I bought before I knew better, and none of it fits now - including some very expensive bespoke suits (not that I would wear them now anyway).....
-
@ARNC feels like that I've peaked style-wise, and that I'll never own a piece of clothing that make me feels as good as this does...
When I saw the measurements on Re-Loved product page I thought it was absolutely inch perfect for me, and wearing it out this evening confirms this
Most expensive garment I've ever purchased, but I have zero regrets.

Also, no word of a lie... Last night waiting in the queue at McDonald for some Chicken Selects, I had a girl 9 years younger than me ask me if I was French, give me her a number, and call me Daddy whilst whilst wearing this jacket.
I have never been hit on so blatantly in my entire life, and can only put it down to the undeniable sex appeal of Horsehide.
Awful picture for reference, she demanded we took one together

Got caught in heavy rain for half an hour wearing this earlier, was able to literally shake it dry when I got into the office, and absolutely no water has seeped through to the lining.
I'm completely new to leather jackets, so maybe this is normal, but I was very impressed.
Did a better job of keeping me dry than my Ventile lined IH M-65
