@endo I look forward to seeing how this renovation unfolds! I spent a lot of my childhood in a camper up and down the UK and France, so this warms my heart
Thanks for sharing the journey! -
thanks @Denman-John, ‘77 Westfalia and '90 Volvo 240 wagon are both cars I admire. The good thing about the Peugeot Boxer, it's the same car as the Fiat Ducato, the Citroen Jumper and the Opel Movano, the most built transporter in Europe for the last 20 years. So, you basically get everything for it and garages all over Europe are familiar with it.
-
@endo that is a champ move, well done!
I was about to ask ‘why a Peugeot’ cause I didn’t know about them but you just answered that one.
165 hp sounds aplenty…guessing it must be quite more powerful that your past VWs? -
Looks like a lot of fun! Can't wait to see how it turns out.

Will you replace the front seats with swiveling ones?
exactly, that will make a little galley
@pechelman said in the (new) endomobile:
Any drivetrain plans to improve off road capabilities?
no, that's fine for now, but the steel sheets will need some cushioning for noise insulation
-
Can’t wait to see things progress.
-
Hope to see it in Gosport in September, really fun N

a bit like this
My ex-next door neighbour had a side hustle converting vans like this. He always made sure to leave the rear wheels on the vans.
</sarcastic asshole>
Seriously, best with the project, look forward to your posts.
