Probably skipped posting last month, but here’s the progression so far on the 18oz vintage…
-
@RoxRocks86 What a swell job you are doing with the vintage 18oz!! Love how different it is to other jeans - three months! Whohoooo!!
-
Ahhh you’re too kind @denim-dawg ! You’re definitely giving Olaf from Frozen competition for being the jolliest snowman to exist I don’t think anyone else can touch on your 42oz of fade goodness!
-
@RoxRocks86 Awww So much happiness going around! This IH Forum and denim community sure is something else. Mahalo

watch out @denim-dawg you might just melt!

Here's my March submission pictures!
Being a Dad to two boys (2 + 4 years old) I already had to wash 3 times. Worn every day minus the 3 half days of drying after washing.
I love the XHS!
-
My April submission
-
My iPhone pics tend to exaggerate the fades on the SBG, but overcast today so not too far off.
Not really loving the phone fade, but haven't found any practical alternative to keeping the phone in the front pocket.
-
I put my phone in a jacket pocket or bag to try and avoid the phone fade.
-
I'll see if I can ween myself off using the front pocket, and instead go for a jacket pocket or bag, or even the back pocket when practical.
-
3rd submission. Mostly dry…mostly. 888-XHS

@olblue These are looking great, that belt looks like its had some wear too!
-
@olblue Very nice!
-
@jiminstitches thanks buddy, only going 3 months on the belt (a gift from nicks boots) but the double stuffed leather is so buttery it attracts oils at a mad pace
-
@JunkPants thank ye
-
@olblue When you say mostly dry, did you give these an initial soak?
-
@olblue Wow that's a great gift! How long you gonna wait for the first wash?
-
@JunkPants no initial soak but anything unsanforized I will. Definitely has seen some water from the elements (I spend a lot of time outdoors.) trying to keep dry until the smell
-
@jiminstitches trying for as long as possible. I know when summer hits they’re definitely getting a wash. No projected plans just keeping em dry till they stink
