Received them today and couldn't be happier...love this cut. Slim but not skinny and will make a fantastic option along with my 17oz 888 natural indigo. Anyone on the fence about these because they are listed as a "super slim" need not worry, these aren't skinny jeans. I'm assuming that most of us who are dropping $350+ on a pair of jeans are old enough to be at a point in their lives where that cost wont wreck our finances. Which also means...especially for us Americans...our skinny body days are a distant memory. lol I am in my mid 50's and I'm 6' tall and weight 200-205lbs. These 36" size fit perfectly, plenty of room in the top with a narrow leg that looks perfectly natural and not skinny. I hope this helps anyone on the fence for this cut. Now I'm off to decide which cut to get my black jeans in...lol
I'd say buyer beware, I have another denim in 555 cut, top block in 34 is a bit loose on my waist, perfect fit on buttocks, but thighs are thigh, and if you have any calves, they are almost too tight. So if you do any squatting/ leg work at gym, be warned. (and I'm no bodybuilder)

After wearing them for a few days I can say with certainty that these are my favorite jeans. I am stunned at how comfortable they are. I fully expected them to be uncomfortable and need to be broken in but that's not the case at all. They were comfortable from the start and just keep getting better. I was shocked at how easily they buttoned...I've had a 19oz pair of PBJ jeans that still are a pain in the ass to button. lol

Been wearing these for the last couple weeks, great jeans. Not hard to see why the 21oz is a favourite for a lot of people. Substantial, yet very comfortable.

Hi all! I'm new to the forum here but thought I'd share some progress on my IH-555s-21's.... These are my absolute favorite jeans and I've been wearing pretty constant for 1.5 years. I don't really pay attention to washes/soaks but i'd say I do one or the other every month or so. cheers!

Hi guys! Hello from Indonesia
I am considering to cop 555-21 but still doubt about the size
Currently, I own 666-21 size 30 and 634-21 size 30
I have checked the 555-21 measurement table and I think size 29 or 30 may suit my size.. waist n thigh, I think should be cool, but knee n below am still not sure.. btw I am 5'10" and 140 lbs
If you have experience or suggestion in picking 555, do let me know! Thank you!

Massive thanks to @Freeman for his patience whilst I deliberated cuts and waist size. We got there!

@Jupri Drop an email to the guys at the IHUK shop and they should be able to help you: shop@ironheart.co.uk

Fit check. Too tight or just right? (I know it is not too loose lol)
-
Thank you! I am comfortable with them. I feel a bit stiff, but no pain or chafing
-
@tnjyoung what tag size were these and what're your measurements mate?
-
They look good! And I agree, they will only get better if they fit good enough now.
-
Fit check. Super fit out of the bag. I wish they were tapered but this is still my favorite IH cut.
-
@CosmoSix5 Perfect fit!!! Congrats!!
-
@CosmoSix5 looking great! Love the 555, because it's trim but not skinny and what gives it a rugged but still smart silhouette. Gotta wear my 555s 21 more soon

How does the top block of the 555's compares to the 888's? Similar? Roomier? The front rise and back rise seem kind of similar. I can see that the 555 is a lot slimmer at the knee.

@yannis Here is the page that describes all of the IH cuts and gives visual representations for you to compare:

@yannis my experience with the 555 was kinda like that. Plenty of room everywhere for me except the span between the crotch and knee. 555 Top block was perfect, probably better than the 888 since the extra little bit of rise can make for some butt sag unless you wear them high - not a problem for comfort tho! I just can’t do the sharp taper from crotch to knee on the 555. My thighs aren’t that big, but too big proportionally for the other measurements. It was almost like the 555 was too slim in the thigh to pull them all the way up. Cool thing about the 888 though, is that if you fit for a snug waist, that should be the tightest measurement on that cut. Just my experience…
