@Mizmazzle thank you
-
@Brian feeling your pain man.
For what it's worth though, Corlection is a bit of a punish. I never shop there. As regards Sydney shops Blueworks is worth supporting. Lovely bloke and good selection of gear.
But otherwise, hit me up if you're in Sydney for a beer or two yeah?

Truman in Dark Coyote Roughout. Looks can be deceiving. I always thought of rough out leathers as kind of a soft and flexible suede. WRONG! These are really stiff and taking a while to break in. I accept the challenge.

Rough out just reverses the hide to expose the nappy interior where suede splits or rubs the hide to form the nap—so it’s the latter that can have different characteristics than its smooth out counterpart.

Lofgren boot porn. Could stare at shinki all night

@flannel-slut
awesome boots , have them too
by far the most sturdy boots I ever had. Around 60 days of wear, but still not really broken in.
tough as nails -
Gave my Lofgren Ludlows a bit of love and a fresh set of laces
-
@Mizmazzle what length? My replacement laces are a bit long.
-
@mclaincausey I went 60” I double knot them. The laces that came with were not great….Very long and I had to wrap around my ankle. This length works great!
I do find it a takes practice getting the tension just right with these boots/ lacing style. Even the old laces to the new laces take a bit of practice to get the tension right. It’s easy to over cinch on one hook set and cause a pressure point. Or under cinch and cause looseness.
