IH-634S - 21oz Selvedge Denim Straight Cut Jeans - Indigo
-
thought i put this question up, the jeans from foxy are just different arcs on one pocket, different colored thread, but same 21 oz denim & such??
-
Damn Stewart those are a work or art!

I have had my 634s for six months. I only get to wear them 2-3 times per week. The fading process is very slow. They were my introduction to IH. Since purchasing these jeans. I have given away all my other pairs of denim. They are the most comfortable versatile jeans. I have ever owned.

^Those deserve better pictures! But they are looking great!
I got a pair off of SuFu so I am officially part of the IH family (finally). Got to wait until friday though to receive my package
-
Thanks guys! Well, just got them today. A much fuller cut than I originally thought them to be, but compared to my SG1103ex's this is skinny haha. Well, the denim is also a hell of a lot softer than I also expected (and I knew it was going to be soft, but this is like a babys butt soft).
I am going to try and pull through these and wear them, but I may end up selling them and get a different IH cut (…666...). I think that if I went with a 29 instead of 30, the fit would look better, but these I got for a steal (they are ~2 months old, but minimal fading).
Anyways, enough of me talking, fit pics:

...sorry to say so,but this is somehow getting ridiculous imho.
you always buy a pair of jeans, wear'em for like 10secs and then you already talk about reselling the pair you just bought 5min.ago!!!
why don't you just read through the thread of the pair you're REALLY interested in,check measurements and sizing and then press play…?
Not press play at first, just to see that you bought a pair with a total different cut you were actually after???now I hope you won't take it personal, but if you want a pair of slim cuts, why do you always buy "baggy" fitted denim at first?makes no sence at all imho, sine you're going through the hustle with reselling again and again and again and again...
-
Well, I am most certainly going to give these a chance. And no, I am not taking it personal I know what you mean man. I mean these aren't baggy, but they aren't as slim (probably the wrong word) as I thought they would be. But the only problem is that I don't really have the chance to try on denim, and I mean I really don't want to spend $400 again on a pair of pants. I did check the measurements, but my guess is I overestimated myself, I mean I will give these a chance as they are sick, but if in the end I don't like them I will just re-sell them..
And I actually enjoy selling things, gives me a chance to try out more stuff, I have my main pair of jeans right now (s500JX-LR, and plan on never selling them), and then I will just try out different brands as it is the only way. It would be collecting if I had the money for it, but since I don't I have to buy and re-sell, I have tried tons of brands, and honestly I have found that TFH and Samurai are the only 2 brands I really like, and since I just got these, I can't say for sure I love iron heart yet, but I can tell these are really well made, and what not. I also shouldn't have said that I was going to sell them just yet, as I need to give them a chance, but considering how comfy they are right now, I will probably keep them. The results of some Iron Hearts I have seen are incredible.
BTW, I only sell my jeans because usually I am very decisive, and there are some imperfection that just annoys the shit out of me. So far I haven't found one on the 634s, so as of now I will keep them but it is only up to me if I decide to sell.

My thoughts exactly. I would have kept a ton of my jeans but, the only way that I can try out other jeans is to sell and buy since I don't have a good enough flow of money from my job. I would have had a decent collection by now, not as good as some other people though.

laxlife1234, I don't know if you know me – but I bought your W30 SG1103EX Heavy Weight Jean - Straight Leg from you for a great price. Remember ? I love those Strike Golds ! I haven't rotated them in yet though because I'm too busy loving my Sugar Cane Okinawas. But I know you're just a kid...a pretty young kid. I'm not sure if others on this forum realize just how young you are ! Your writing style and verbosity gives your youth away...most young people babble on and on like you do (no jab intended). I chuckled when I read "I don't have a good enough flow of money from my job". And let me break something to you kiddo…you never will. Japanese jeans are very expensive, and will always be...no matter if you're 15 or 50.
Those IH 634S look really good on you !

They don't look too bad. Nothing wrong with sampling when you find a good deal.

Glad to see comments like these. No one should feel ostracized due to the fact they are slowly making the transition into unfamiliar territory. Keep doing what you do and sooner or later you'll find your comfort zone and subsequently start knocking your purchasing decisions out of the park.
