IHSH-189-BRN - 17oz Duck CPO Work Shirt - "The UnTucked" - Brown
-
This one is a fantastic piece, and I managed to snag one, but unfortunately it was too tight in the chest for me (but spot on everywhere else) so I had to let it go….but keeping my spirits up waiting for the new winter collection and hoping to grab some winners there!

Ordered just about an hour ago. I really wanted something not dark but also not loud. It might come on my birthday.

Just curious if anyone can give me any insight into how much of an increase in size they go for when using a piece like this as more of an overshirt/shacket than a shirt? So for example I have a western with a shoulder measurement of 18" and P2P of around 22" and that fits me perfectly for a nice trim looking fit. How much extra would you guys go for on this to wear over the top? I am worried the 19.5" shoulder measurement on the large might be a bit too baggy.
-
@hjl360 I think your best option would be to size up one. I have a small and medium, the medium is pretty big without layering but the small is super tight if I try to layer. I normally get a medium in most iron heart shirts but the shoulder measurements were good on the small one n this one for me.
-
@hjl360 your western size sounds like a large which is what I am and I ordered a medium in this knowing that I will probably only be able to wear a UHF under this IF I keep the "untucked" open.
-
Thanks for the input guys, after measuring up an overshirt i already own and wear in the way I would want this one it seems medium would be the right choice. Just had this absolute heartbreak after a restock notification
-
@hjl360 I’m going to be sending back my medium in the next few days. So there’s still hope.
-
@ZackB good to know
-
Rivet and Hide has a medium right now
-
Anyone have an experience with shrinkage after washing this duck material (this CPO specifically)? Thanks
-
@hjl360 I'd be looking at chest rather than shoulder. Medium is only 21.5 P2P, which is going to be very snug if you're generally a large. Generally you'd size up rather than down for a 'shacket' fit. Unless you don't plan on buttoning it at all. Even then you might find the armholes tight over a flannel etc.
-
@dwaynelum I ended up grabbing one a size down from my IH jacket size. The measurements from the guys at IH seem to be ok though. I'll have it this afternoon. Yours looks really cool for such a brief wear.

Sorry about the wait on the fit pics and the crappy grainy shots just dealing with the wife being sick right now. I will get better shots once she is up and well again.
-
@clutchdealer Looks great.

@Jcaz6996 That sucks.
Truth be told, I'm surprised you didn't already have one of these
