IHSH-397-IND - 21oz Sashiko Work Shirt - Indigo

@popvulture ahaha...it's probably true! I'm trying to account for what I think might be some decent arm stacking going on...
-
If you guys are not on the very big end of a size you should be fine with TTS. Most of my Work Shirts are XXL. Only exception is the Untucked that I just got which is XL.
@popvulture For reference I’m 194cm and 94kg
-
@weftyarn thanks man! Hm we’ll see what’s up — you’re actually a couple inches taller than I am and about 7lbs more, so there’s a chance I could end up needing an XL. Like I said based on the pics though, seems like XXL could be the way for me. Psyched to see however it turns out, and if it ends up being too big, it’s all good. I’ve got way too much stuff anyway haha.
-
Well these sold fast. R&H have stock in each size. How come some people are showing pics of them wearing it beige it was released?!
-
@Gavin666 they got them at the iron heart party over the weekend
-
If I'm 6'1" 230, take an XL in the DR CPO and XXL in UHF Western/Work, should I go XXL or XXXL on this anyone figure?
Edit: Just realized I typed XXL twice. Second one was meant to be XXXL...

I’m 5’9 200LBS with 43” chest
Same size as ironshopprovisions JoshWear a XXL in western and XL in my dobby work shirt and chose XL for this.
I was almost tempted to size down until people on here said size up to just went with TTS -
@99Tjadams Makes me think you're recommending the XXL then, eh?
Guess I'm just wary as people here have said size up and now both SOP and WF have said they find it running small....
-
@Watty
I’m not a sizing expert, I keep a list of the sizes of my clothes and how they fit. When I was closer to 215lbs I’d be considering a XXL.
-edit, just noticed you were considering XXXL not XL. Hard to say in that case. I was just thinking XL would be way to small for you. -
I’m in thanks to rivet and hide
-
@99Tjadams Fair enough, thanks for the insight. I've tended to size "aspirationally" in the past and it's bit me in the ass a few times, but hoping to drop a few more pounds in the near future, so maybe the XXL isn't too crazy here.
Most of my other stuff is in line with the XXL measurements.
-
Just curious, since this is a 21 oz. shirt, does it have the same heft as the IH-526J 21 oz. Type III jacket? To me, that would be a selling point. Thank you.
-
@Mizmazzle Thanks for weighing in, I guess I was more focused on that he said his measurements were coming in smaller than IH's in general, so his XXL was coming out "smaller" than their 24" chest measurement, for example.
-
I bet I fucked up with the size. Sigh. Alright, need to move on from this, taking up too much brain space at the moment haha.
-
@weftyarn Yea dude! I thought you were on a unicycle for a moment.
-
@indigostiff yes the weight is the same, 21 ounces per square yard, but perhaps the consistency is very different,
-
@Watty yup! I see what you’re referencing now. Guess we’re all pretty excited about this one and the sizing game. I think this fabric will soften up really nicely and make for a comfy fit. What’s so nice about IH is that the dimensions are not huge jumps from one size to the next.

Really hoping the sizing works out for everyone with this shirt.
