IHSH-343-OD - Ultra Heavy Flannel Tartan Check Work Shirt - Green Overdyed Black
-
Good stuff @SaddleSC !
Glad I picked this one out of the 8 option -
@SaddleSC Received the shirt today--my first UHF, in fact--in XXL. What a material! Warm like wool, and a flattering fit. Fit is very comfortable all around, though the sleeves are long but material rolls in a cool way. The sizing of these shirts is funky (in a good way for me at least) vs other brands, and the length on this XXL is surprisingly how I like it for my 5'9 frame. With larger sizes in other brands the arm openings are also always so big and sloppy. This one is terrific. The black overdye of the green tartan looks awesome and doesn't draw sniper fire. I dig how the moss green thread pops. Looking forward to how the material develops over time.

@Transporter Congrats! Looks great on you, brother...glad I could help:)
-
@SaddleSC Thank you for the great advice!
-
@Ross Check out this shirt under a UV light (blacklight). Pretty cool how the green, orange, yellows, and light blues come through.
-
Finally got my hands on mine!!! It is on its way to Austin for the motogp races this weekend, YAY. It’ll be way too warm for a UHF in Austin in april so it it likely to only see use in chilly airplanes.
-
Today with the brown cords!
-
@motojobobo dude that looks like the ultimate cozy fit
-
@Oaktavia thank you! I was on my way out to pick my bike. We’ll test how cozy it feels in the wind in a bit.

Just stumbled across this piece while sorting through the inventory for my very first UHF, and can't believe I found a Medium still in stock... seems like an unlikely happening 'round these parts;). Not sure if there was a recent restock, or if everyone's attention had been diverted elsewhere (looking at you, IHSH-408), but either way I can't wait to get these soon! Thanks IH!

@MSav32323 Nice! I think these were slightly slower off the shelf. I’ve been telling myself I don’t need one of the western cut ones for months…
-
@Mister_Brue hard to believe, seems like something like this would be a piece the hardcore folks would be drooling over..oh well! Can’t wait for mine to arrive!!
-
@MSav32323 i purchased two of them the day they dropped. I was drooling like a hound dog. Love mine a ton, some of my favorite pieces in my collection.
-
@AdamJ How much in total it would cost me to upgrade the buttons on this shirt to copper snaps?
-
@Yoprst It’ll just be the cost of the ‘Heavy Snap Upgrade’, which is £21 or the equivalent where you are (for the Western shirt).
The work shirt can only be upgraded with Good Art buttons.

i.e. 15 x £21 = £315?

Then how those were upgraded?
-
@Yoprst The ‘Heavy Snap Upgrade’ & ‘Light Snap Upgrade’ (£21 and £17 respectively) are for the whole Western shirt, if eligible as specified in the details of the specific shirt.
The shirts you are referencing above are IHSH-326’s (Work Shirt with Snaps), available in Indigo, Black/Cream, or OD.
You cannot replace a buttonhole with a snap.
Hope that helps.

Thank you very much, you've helped me a lot!

@Yoprst Also, the Western version of this shirt (IHSH-337-OD) is still available in sizes S-XL.
You could upgrade this shirt to copper snaps for £21, unless Westerns just don’t work for you.
