IHSH-397-IND - 21oz Sashiko Work Shirt - Indigo
-
@MrJay Large will probably be spot on
-
@GandalftheGray We had a cold front blow in and it cut right through this baby, needed an outer layer for sure. I'm pretty cold natured so take that with a grain of salt, but I'd call this very breathable and not warm below 50F, IMO (60F for me ).
-
@GandalftheGray this doesn't feel like a 21oz shirt to me. My 17oz duck and denim jackets feel heavier for sure. This is a 60-70 degree shirt to me where my UHFs will be able to go a lil lower in temp
-
Thanks for the input fellas, for whatever reason I just equate sashiko with warmer weather but I’m extremely tempted although it would be breaking my 1 shirt per season rule (it’s already broken)
-
The good news: Man, this fabric really comes alive after a wash. Absolutely love the crisp feel and how it becomes just a tad more snug.
The bad news: Two buttons did not survive.. I’m repeating myself but it would be such a blessing to have this fixed. Can’t believe I haven’t lost any of my Workshirt buttons yet.
Anyways, repair done and after wash fit pics coming in tomorrow

One wash? Unexpected... Was the shirt washed buttoned or un?

@weftyarn the buttons didn't survive the wash?
Well they did survive but the threads didn’t
@CosmoSix5 yes only one wash. Buttoned up and „inside out“ as always.
-
@Matt we know eventually if clothes are loved and worn buttons will get loose. But this is a short span. Hoping my first wash goes well this week. Was silly and worked in my work shirt so it's prob going to need it.

@sabergirl with the weight of the shirt I did wonder if I had made a mistake buttoning the shirt partially. Next wash I‘ll leave them unbuttoned
