My Mom and Aunt are in town, so we visited the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center. Lots of insects to be seen! Here are a couple highlights

Not an insect but this critter came out from the water and went into the garden

We went on a nice family trip to the Wildflower Center today. This time I brought my Fuji X100F along.

@SKT Thank you! The Fuji is a great and easy to use camera. It was tough to keep focus with the breeze blowing, but the camera did well.

Woodland Dor Beetle

Bit difficult to photograph on the woodland floor…

I’ve not seen camouflaged ones like this, only the bright green ones in Japan. Lucky to not be stood on!
