Browns kicking ass!
BWHAHAHA Steelers have another game against the Ravens, Browns, Bengals 2x, Chiefs and Eagles left. AFC North is still in our grasp @Matt
-
we lost to the Browns. Tomlin always underestimates the underdogs
-
Yeah AFCN games are always a toss up. Did y’all see that new hard knocks is coming out soon?

We now have a dozen weeks of this NFL season in the books and as the clock ticked down on the Ravens/Chargers game with the aforementioned Ravens winning 30-23,we head into Week 13. But first let’s go back to Sunday as the Detroit Lions easily handled The Indianapolis Colts 24-6 giving @IrishHeart his eighth consecutive win. Last night The Ravens started off slow with The Chargers jumping out to a 7 point lead, and I knew that @Mizmazzle hadn’t taken out his lucky socks yet,but in the second quarter Lamar Jackson would hit Mark Andrews with 10 yard TD pass and I knew that at that point “The Socks” were in play. We have an epic battle going on here as @IrishHeart and @Mizmazzle continue doing a brilliant job as they will be vying for their, unprecedented ,ninth straight wins. In the US we’ll be celebrating Thanksgiving this week and that means copious amounts of food and football. But first I’d like to say thanks to everyone for playing along and participating in this Survivors Pool. Big time congratulations to @IrishHeart and @Mizmazzle on their wins. Football on Thursday,Friday, Sunday and Monday. Happy Thanksgiving!!!

@Jett129 great write up and congratulations to @IrishHeart and @Mizmazzle for making it this far! Happy Thanksgiving to everyone who celebrates
-
@Jett129 thanks again for the write up.
Despite their terrible record playing on Thanksgiving, I’ll stick with Detroit to beat da Bears. Chicago keep finding new ways to lose, but I hope they give Williams time, as he looks to have lots of potential, and is getting better.
Congratulations to @Mizmazzle and good luck to you for the weekend. I’m only in this pool for a bit of fun whereas I know the Broncos are your team so fingers crossed they get the win.
-
@SKT thank you, although in my case, more luck than judgment!
-
@IrishHeart Thanks buddy. Back at you!
I would never bet money on sports, especially my own team...but I like to choose games in our pool here that have significance for my Broncos...make it a little more fun for me that way. -
@Mizmazzle I never bet on any sports team I like either, in case I jinx them. It tends to be stressful enough watching them without the worry of losing cash at the same time!
-
Imagine your bet affected the outcome
The only betting scenario that makes sense to me is betting against my team. That way I win either way! That said, I don’t even do that.

I often refer to that as a Happy /Sad moment. Taken from the joke where a guy says to his wife, you’ve known me a long time, I bet you can think of something that would make me happy and sad at the same time. She says ,Your brothers dick is smaller than yours. Winning and losing!

@mclaincausey we had a neighbourhood pool for the Euros and before the final I was tied for the lead. I knew my neighbour would pick Spain but I couldn’t go against England. If England win I win the pool plus my team is European champion. If Spain win I don’t care. Spain won, I cried, I didn’t care about the pool
