Which Cell Phone do you own?
-
Hehe, thanks for the demo pic Jimmy
Rumours are that the 5 will have an 8 megapixel camera; which is a big jump from my 3gs. So with that, the better battery and my laziness in not wanting to set up a new phone means I will probably only resist Apple ads for the 5 for about….5 minutes.

I just got a Samsung Infuse. The most amazing smart-phone ever ! This phone has got a huge amount of screen real estate – it's sort of a smart-phone-tablet hybrid thing...but it fits in your pocket. It runs Android Froyo 2.2 but rumor says that it's upgradeable to Gingerbread. I'm willing to bet that this baby will make an iPhone hater out of you !

As I mentioned on the Android thread, I now have a Samsung Infuse. I'm in LOVE. PS…I'm an ex iPhone4-user. No slams against Apple products...they are lovely. But I have a difficult time justifying Apple-fanaticism since I often code in Linux and love Linux. BSD Unix (Apple's shell) is not Linux. I will support open source any chance I get. That said, Android is no longer really open source...Google has closed it up pretty good. But it's definitely w-a-a-y more open than Apple...and one has hundreds more product choices available with Android.

Mmm I was a bit rough on my 8220 pearl flip… I'm thinking of getting a Blackberry 9520 (Storm) - the other models are too big plus I like the big screen on the 9520. Too expensive for my likings in €urope, so might venture and import one from Hong-Kong lol... I know... Only an eejit would...
Anyhow: anyone with a 9520 and (un)happy about it?.. Or anyone who knows where else to get a cheap, unlocked one (preferably AZERTY but doesn't have to be)?..

Let me know if you need anything from HK - will fly into Germany by the end of next week…

Well - is it possible to get new, unlocked 9520s there for cheap?.. Seems like a lot to ask, though…
Most things new are slightly cheaper than in Europe just because of lower taxes alone…
For most things Apple for example it works out like 100-150EUR cheaper than in European Apple online-stores (which very close or lower than US prices). Usually, phones are unlocked in HK.
What's the regular/official price for a 9520s in your area? I can check on Monday when I go into HK again... -
Hate phones and talking in general. I use iPhone 4, but long for the days of the pager…

If you can get a new one for say 200-250 €, then I'm game… They cost around 400 here... Unlocked, qwerty's ok, English menu; 'as about all I need really... If you're willing to check this for me, I'd have to rewrite my will...

I'ms eeing real cheap Storms on eBay.co.uk so maybe this won't be necessary, but hit me up with some general prices and we'll see, Foxy. I'd rather buy one from an actual store even if it IS located in Hong-Kong… Lotta sketchy things on eBay...

Hi Seul,
Here are some links to the main chain stores showing their current offer and prices:

http://www.fortress.com.hk/fortress/jsp/sys/Sf_render.jspTell me what you think regarding the prices?
With your specific model I have to go and look around the physical store as it is considered antique by HK standards - maybe you want to upgrade, otherwise I would have to go for second hand one…Most mobiles are unlocked and without contract in HK.
