IHSH-409-IB - 19oz Selvedge Denim CPO Shirt - Indigo/Black
-
@Mizmazzle pairs well with your IHC-06!
-
@Sir_Cuffs-a-Lot haha. It’s true.
-
@Mizmazzle yeah man the 21oz caps are so good. I'm so stoked we both have one. I'd imagine it pairs well with anything, as you suggest.
-
I'm so bummed I missed out on this shirt! I wished I could have pulled the trigger on this release
-
Two broken snaps in the last week.
Hoping to send back to the team for repairs, which will mean it’ll be getting it’s first wash soon. -
wow , not seen that before.
did they just fell of ? -
@Mister_Brue dang bro no more hulking out
-
Definitely Number 3, backed up by oh I got it a while ago #2…. Still breathing
-
Any restock on the horizon?
-
@Daniel-San The female snap part must detach from itself whilst taking the shirt off, so I only notice in the morning that the snap is still together, just not on both parts of the shirt. 🫠
They have been getting progressively harder to undo…. I’m pushing these garments pretty hard I guess.
-
Good thing it’s the female parts that broke on yours. I think IHUK has stock of those. If only they had the copper male parts, I’d love to purchase a few dozen of them…I desperately want to swap out some brass parts on a few pieces that I got “pimped”. The dissimilar metal issue has me worried about getting my garments wet.
-
also not sure about the UK usage of the term “pimped”?, but it feels a bit antiquated to be using it
-
I thought this was brought up s few years back for the same reason @Boit. Definitely agree it's terminology worth leaving behind.
For the galvanic corrosion, so long as you keep them dry and also clean them of any salts/sweat they should last a long while. Easier said than done for some things though and for things that many of us tend not to want to wash.
-
Yeah. That’s what I was thinking re the galvanic corrosion. I wonder if a workaround could be to coat the brass male parts with a black epoxy or acrylic. Just not sure that wouldnt just flake off due to the simple press fit nature of the snap.
-
Also, good point about minimizing water and muck and I can avoid the problem when I wash my tops unbuttoned. My biggest concern is that I have this cooper over brass upgrade on one of my waxed chore coats. I cant avoid wearing it buttoned when working it in the rain. Or maybe it’s best left as a weird fashion jacket for only the dry formal occasions
-
@Tago-Mago just what I wanted to hear - not!
-
I’ll be sending the 409 back to the crew for snap repairs tomorrow, so I took some shots when I got home just before it got dark. Not sure it’s too different from the last update, but hey-ho, I am slowly printing the interior of my IHJ-120 onto it.
