Thank you man, keep our memories going rest of my life.Heres pic of all his pro boards ever on this company called scum co hanging up in my apartment. He always gave me one to hang, ones to skate etc Gear wheels and all that. He also Said I was only person to have them all. The last 2 bottom right side came out after. Anyway hope not too sad/bummer of a post. Just wanted share his part for the skate thread and since taking about SF. -
@meatmarketdenim1 Oh bro...such a sad story. Sorry to hear things turned out like they did. Sounds like he was a rad dude who was loved dearly.
I have a sadly, similar story myself. My buddy Ross. Since we were both 18, we skated together every single day. As we grew older, we continued to skate and go through our young party years. We were best friends for 15 years until we sort of grew apart. I pursued education and matured, he seemed stuck in his adolescence and rutted out.
The saddest part of the story, he always wanted to start his own skate company. He talked about it all the time in all our years skating together. He finally got his shit together and somehow got it off the ground. He moved to Vegas and made it happen! He started a company called Colonial and they were doing great!
One night coming home from a party he crashed his motorcycle and it all came to an end. I too have his boards as momentos and keep them on the wall.
Thanks for sharing your story man. And thanks for letting me share mine. Our brothers will live on forever this way!

@Mizmazzle thank you for the kind words and sharing you story of your homie as well. And you are def right they will always live on with us

Thought I'd best continue the convo here @goosehd, don't want to derail the WAYWT thread!
My board's the pintail (although the Arbor fish looks pretty similar in terms of dims and wheelbase):
This one has a 17" wheelbase and a C7 truck. I bought their other Carver collab board for my kid (they were both on offer!) that has a shorter 15.5" wheelbase - it's still fun and very rideable, but it's amazing how much difference the longer base makes, much more flow and I can pump it more aggressively without getting squirrely. Absolutely love it, although toying with the idea of upgrading to bigger, harder 70mm wheels to hold a bit more speed on flats. Still only learning though, so more speed might not be the best idea at the moment!

Right on Master Shredder!
-
@Mizmazzle @RobeOfTheMagi @goosehd Ha ha, cheers
I'm not going to pretend I'm any good at it, just trying to keep up with my nippers who are already ripping rings around me - loads of fun though!
-
@SamD That's some solid carving, don't belittle yourself.
-
Love that @SamD
I need to get back on the board now the weather is improving
-
@RobeOfTheMagi I used to mess about on skateboards as a kid, but mainly coming at it from years of surfing. Don't think my old knees could handle learning tricks, so it's all about cruising and carving whatever hills I can find (while living in the flattest city in the UK!)
-
Nice! Arbors are sweet. I cruise around on a Pilsner Flagship. My days at really getting at it are long behind me.
-
Some photos from back to my mid-late 80s heyday
-
Sweet shots @northsouthdenimguy. Looks like you had some game.
I love that era Powell Peralta decks. The graphics and shape are second to none.
-
@northsouthdenimguy Amazing! I don't think you'll see me taking to the skies anytime soon
Yeah, the Arbors seem really solid - got my eye on one of their double-drop longboards for some longer-distance cruising in the summer
-
My knees are paying for it these days.
Air walk/jump ramp was also a powell peralta deck(Ripper) some killer graphics during that time
-
That’ll be a cool set up, like to see it once you get it. My wheels stay on the ground, just cruising the streets/carving it up.
