SuperBlackLechraun…
Geo: do you have an idea which ones are UK made and which aren't?..
nameness: I e-mailed them when the e-store opened and asked them, and they told me there were gonna be more UK made shoes... Apparently that is already happening. It's weird that they're not stressing that out in the product detail (of course, this means saying your other shoes are made in India, but still).

dude.
oh that looks like my uncle albert on my pops side of the family. how'd you get his picture, hahahaha

From the ints I've read with Mr. Little I'm very impressed & hopeful. I would love to get a pair of shoes from his line but every time I look at the models I'm not really struck by anything.
Beautiful quality - long lean lines - modern in a conservative way
I have a handful of shoes and boots

Sorry Seul - don't have that info
Just ask them for their bench grade models - that should sort the wheat from the chaff
Top end grenson was as good as church's, lobb et al
They diversified and tried to follow a market - got a bit lost and sub-contracted a lot of their work
To be blunt - that's what many shoe manufacturers did . . . as well as using a wider variety of non-standard lower grade materials to try and satisfy the perceived consumer demand - eg lightweight coloured leathers for summer shoes . . . that type of thing
Good and bad to it all

Which black Indy/which sole?
Calf? Shell? Chromexcel?
Commando? Leather?I have the Indy in a black aniline calf with commando sole and really like them. But they look a little dressy for jeans. I wear them with chinos. They have a little sheen to them.
I think the black chromexcel would be a better choice with denim. With contrast stitching.
Mine:
ha…that post just put a clear division between the vet and the rook.
I'm not sure on specifics, but I was thinking something similar to the one in arrow's collection found here:

However, the white toe box stitching isn't really doing it for me.
