IHT-2011 Plain - 7.5oz Loopwheeled Knitted Cotton Tee Shirts

Love the new tees. Washing now as recommended.
First minute impression:
fabric feels a bit heavier but softer
like the fit, it does feel a bit slimmer but not noticeably longer to me
the white fabric is not quite as bright as the last white, just an ever so slight color to itgood work mr haraki
-
noticed after the wash the black is different in color as well…
not as black as the priors
hint of a dark brown color there
quite noticeable next to an old blackI took a pic but the digi sensor makes it look much worse than it really is so I'm not gonna put it up
color is not bad, just different
hell maybe I just screwed up the laundry
or that last sam adams was one too many
hahaha -
Post wash, a soft, high quality, and slim fitting T. The length is fine and I particularly like the close-fitting collar.
Agree with the previous poster on the white colouring; I'd just add that post wash, the colour does appear to 'brighten' up a bit.
I've not been a fan of NAVY coloured T's in the past, but the vividness of the colour and the background texture of the fabric really attracted me. Have to say I'm delighted with it.
I don't have a camera, so here is a very representative picture taken from BOSS TALK:
On value for money, 10/10, a complete bargain.
Construction appears to be tubular, is it loopwheeled?
-
Not loopwheeled. If they were, I'm sure that Haraki and/or Giles would have mentioned it long ago.
-
I believe it was said that Haraki has not been able to find a loopwheeled fabric heavy enough to make an Iron Heart Tee

paging the fabulous [mr.] fox[y].
i am pretty sure he has a little bit of everything . . . & actually i think he did a write up comparing the 7.5oz & 7oz tees. don't think he threw a flathead tee in the mix. from my experience flathead tees are topshelf. incredible construction & durable fabrics.
