@kt upload a picture otherwise on how they fit you now.
They’re one washed and sanforized indeed but you can try to wash them hot like on 50c or 60c beware to put the denim inside out, soak it with the showerhead and wash it on a short cycle without spinning. Shake them nice and firm when they’ll get out and hang them to dry. Flip them when they’re dry and don’t wear them damp cause then they’ll stretch easier. Also there’s a possibility that the waist will stretch back eitherway but it’s worth a shot. Some even throw them in the dryer but i wouldn’t do that with a SBG, BB or IB denim.
-
@kt Be extremely careful washing them if you don't like marbling: https://www.ironheart.co.uk/forum//post/602537

Yep! Turn them inside out and SOAK them with the showerhead untill there’s no more dry spot to be found. Fully wet and them throw them in and don’t FORGET to cancel the SPINNING

@Heavy_blue Lost 30 lbs, they’re pretty big lol.
-
@goosehd Ha thank you. Loose fit it is until I bulk back up.

Yesterday, I had to transit through the airport in Berlin and while I was at the security check, I was wearing my 634 SBG and though I did not have anything in my pocket when I went through the body scanner, I was sent for a full body checkup. The guy who checked me that I was wearing a thick denim which is the reason behind this and as soon as he saw the patch, he got interested and asked me more about it. Did a little bit of marketing for IH yesterday. He just said one word "wow, that denim should last you for a lifetime and have fun with it". Have any of you had similar experiences?
-
@the246guy Yes, I got asked to take my Wesco's off in JFK and I could see the lady behind the screen mouth "what the fuck?" because they're packed full of nails in the sole
-
Oh yeah! Boots experiences at the airport, I have many of them, but this was the first time I was scrutinized for a denim.
-
@the246guy Had the same thing coming through Copenhagen airport and the full body scan is actually displayed in a way you can see it, of course it was picking up all the fly buttons and rivets.
The guard there was very nice and said "Sir, it would seem that you have a large mass in your crotch" to which I replied "well, a gentleman doesn't like to boast...."

Wise people, wise words!

My new SBG’s after their first wear day. Took some good advice and wore them while damp till dry to help set the creases. Came out pretty cool!
-
Some pretty nice fades for being just ~1 month old.

Expected restock please? Thank you

We don't have an accurate ETD yet

Great denim -
Hi all! Is there an estimated restock on these?
-
@ewilkowski Hi, I have touched base with the releasing schedule and looks like we are looking at April/May of 2025.

A bit of a n00b question here, so please bear with me...
I'm on my first part of 21oz SBGs. Specifically, a pair of 633 from Self Edge. I'm stoked on the weight and the unique feel. They've quickly become my favorite new pair.
To the point; dye transfer and specifically, crocking. Is SBG denim subject to color transfer like the indigo denim? On a pair of light-colored leather boots, should I expect some crocking with my 633s?
