WHAT ARE YOU DOING TODAY (PICS)
-
Drove down to LA yesterday for the weekend with my wife – first trip outta the Bay Area since this bs started. Feels good to be on the move. Feels like the world is opening up a bit. Feeling good. I had her take some cute photos of bevs I drank today. Should I be a hand model?
Idk if anyone here's had it, but that bev (Spuma) in the first photo is WILD. I used to drink it in between serving ppl when I worked at a restaurant in the Ferry Building up in San Francisco. Just can't be found anywhere and had been about eight years since I'd had any. If you can order it/find it? BUY SOME.

I keep stealing photos from her phone while she's napping rn…
Another stop at Dinosaur Coffee. Place is v v good and we're total coffee nerds (and she works in coffee).
And here I am being a … total kook! Taken with a coveted Moon Juice in hand.

You guys musta been thirsty!
& the fact that you're in LA could only mean your chances of crossing paths with a hand modeling scout is up.

LOL I hope @RoxRocks86. Will help me pay for my IH habit…
And majorly – the temp wasn't too high, but quite a change from SF weather of late.

@henry_david I love how upbeat and positive you always are. It's a breath of fresh air.

Yeah I was gonna suggest to pressure test it and plug or weld over the tube that leaks. Or sometimes if they can pull a vacuum on the steam side you can cover the tubesheet with shaving cream and plastic to find the leak.
Or they make this florescein dye you can put on the steam side and flood the hotwell with water and use a blacklight to find the leaks.

You can pull the tube out with a thing called a production spear and a slide hammer, or a hydraulic air return cylinder then weld a new tube in place but you have to have some specialize tube expansion equipment to make a good seal on the tubesheet first.
