Some light reading for my nephew. That's all 68 Thomas the Tank Engine books. He lives just across the bay from the Island of Sodor.
This is the memorial to the Tyburn Tree. Somewhere between 40,000 and 60,000 people were hung on this spot over a period of nearly five hundred years. Now it's just a plaque on a traffic island at Marble Arch.

Can't believe Danzig is still going, I saw him/ them at Rick City in Nottingham in 1994 and they were fucking awesome, like a cross between a satanic ritual and Elvis.

I saw them at Rock city early 90s too, White Zombie supporting (La Sexorsisto tour).
possibly same gig?also saw them at the Astoria (RIP) with the huge Danzig skull on stage - Mr Biscuits' (drums) kit set atop between the horns, huge light beams (mostly purple from memory…) coming from the eyes. amazing.
