IHSH-293-OD - 18oz Vintage Selvedge Denim CPO Shirt - Indigo Overdyed Black

Ok XL wasn’t going to work after I got some measurements, so went with XXL which worked out well considering it’s a bit snug in my upper back but not bothering me.
Here’s the XXL:
-
@MassiveThighs my preference would be a size smaller for a more fitted look. But it doesn’t look bad.
-
Thank y’all, I was definitely wearing a size too big.
@doubletee, I got the kersey coming in XL, I’ll see how that one fits
-
Just received mine today in 3XL. Fits like a glove. Cant wait to fade!
-
@landrunner33 looking good! such a great shirt

Scored this one on kleinanzeigen, second hand but in great shape (almost new). Size is L (I am 184cm and 84kg when pictures taken- now 80kg). I have a 526pj in XL to wear with my thicker shirts, so gonna rock this just with t-shirts. I am quite impressed with the quality. Definitely my favourite shirt!

@boutsk this is the fit I'm going for. I'm 2" taller and stick skinny, I'm wondering if I should go with the Large anyways. I had TJ at Shop Vancouver measure their XL and it came up sounding way big so I don't want to end up making a mistake
Depends on the fit that you like. I could have gonne with XL for a looser fit and wear it also as an overshirt. Unfortunately, regarding Japanese tops, L are a bit snug and XL a bit loose for me. When I want to layer underneath, I choose XL (and they still look a bit loose).And size L if I wear them just with a t-shirt. It's style vs comfort for me

@boutsk thanks for the response! now lemme ask, do you have a UHF in size Large? if so, how does the fit compare to the CPO?
Unfortunately I don't have any IH UHF. I have the ihsh-33 denim shirt and fit is very similar. Maybe 293 is a bit shorter

trust the measurements and also be patient with it. The 18oz is a bit more stubborn and stiff compared to a UHF where it may not be comfortable right away for you. I've got a Large in the 293 and a variety of Western UHF's. Most are XL (so I dont need to worry much about how I wash/dry them) but also at least a couple L's. I'd say the 293 fits pretty comparably in the chest/body to those Large Western UHF's, especially the overdyed anniversary flannel from a couple years back. For me, the 293 is generally my most "tailored" fitting piece with very high arm holes and the thicker/stiffer fabric making it look and wear a little slimmer.

@cbmyles Looks perfect!
