High quality sport jacket / blazer recommendations?
-
Hi All-
Looking for some recommendations of offerings for a high quality made blazer or sport jacket. Something that would go great over IH work shirts / westerns. Generally hoping to achieve a slightly dressed up but mostly casual look, with a nice overall ‘western’ theme.
My hunt thus far hasn’t turned up much that jumps out at me. Definitely glad to budget as needed for a great piece that will last a LONG time.
Thanks all.

Very fun looking stuff, indeed. Thanks for the recommendation.
In browsing their offerings, it looks like their jackets are all full button / zip up style, whereas I’m looking for more of a vintage old western style 2 button sport coat… The search continues.

I'm looking for what I think was a leather camo sport coat I saw a minor character wearing in one of the shows I watch but can't remember which one. I thought it was Ozark or Ray Donavan but upon rewinding I couldn't find it.

Depends on your body shape.
If you are tall and sporty built, but trim in the waist, Tom Ford cuts a brilliant jacket.
For a classic fit, Armani (go Flagship) and Brioni make impeccable tailoring.
I also really like Isaia sportcoats and suiting as the patterns are brilliant and cuts are very classic but modern.
For a budget option, Theory makes some of the best “bang for your buck” options, as you can get many jackets on sale for 250-400 and even at retail, they are all pretty much under 750 USD, where as an ISAIA will run you upwards of 2k.
I actually buy theory blazers and suit pants from the real real and pay less than 50 bucks for blazers and they are all excellent - and I don’t feel bad about sweating or spilling marinara in them
