I was just wondering if you got your new jacket @PipeBoss. Fit looks good to me, are you happy with it?

@Giles I have difficulty finding OTR clothing that fits me well. This XL has the best measurements of any IH Type III that I've ever stalked.
Would it be lunacy to consider unlining this for the sake of year-round wear (and two extra pockets)?

I was afraid you would say that! (But, at the very least, we cracked that British smile?)

Another awesome piece from IH, sized up for some layering. This baby is warm too. Don’t mind the dogs leg between mine

Hi
Just purchased this in a XL normally a L in flannels. Does the sizing look okay shoulders/length ?The large is very snug through the body. -
Thanks for your reply- pics with flannel?? What do you think? Cheers

Thanks! the large gave me no room for layers! I guess you don’t want it too tight? Cheers

Fit is subjective and really depends on if you’re comfortable.
I’ve got a jacket that is smaller for t-shirts and a few jackets that are larger for layering. In my climate (Canada), the days can bring quite a bit of variability and layering is essential to stay comfortable throughout the day/night. The larger jackets are great for that. Since this jacket is fleece lined I would tend to wear a little larger for layering and colder days/nights and pickup an unlined one for warmer days/t-shirts.

Thanks that’s really helpful. You live in a great place! Guess I need to save for a lighter weight jacket now Take care!
