Just a small NY update - we managed to catch the entire second half of the Super Bowl as there was no waiting in the airport. Thanks so much for the recommendations, Lando! Monday night we went to Madison Square Garden and saw Jeremy Lin and the rest of the Knicks defeat Utah Jazz. And yesterday front row seats at The Late Show thanks to a great guy at Worldwide Pants. After that we visited Selfedge where my buddy bought a really nice pair of Buzz Rickson gloves. Today and tomorrow is work, work, work, but great trip so far.

takasha, sounds like you all have been having a great time out here! Glad I could help you out if only a little bit. PM me if you have any other questions. Cheers

Stopped in Grahame Fowler today to check out some White's Boots.
Great guys there. Super British shop. TONS of Trickers.
They have a few pairs of Trickers and White's on sale. Almost got some Red Buffalo Semi Dress White's but they only had sz 8D left for $368. I think they have some brown cap toe Semi-Dress Whites in a few sizes left for the same price. Go check it out if you're in town. Great deals. -
Urb, any Oxfords?

For those who live in NYC, do not miss the riddim twins Sly & Robbie with Jamaica-born pianist Monty Alexander and singer Bitty McLean on February 28at the Blue Note club where Monty is celebrating his 50th anniversary in the music business.
This is not going to ever happen again so, do not miss it if you like reggae, jazz and soulful vocals.

gbougard, I am going to merge this into the NYC thread, but can you get me a ticket(s)?! Blue Note is down the street…

New York types - can you recommend me somewhere to stay on the weekend of the 20th April? I'd prefer to be somewhere around the East Village/Lower East Side (close to SENY ) It needs to be reasonably priced and I'd prefer something quirky and interesting. Somewhere like this: http://bedandcoffee.com/ would be perfect but they are unfortunately booked out.
