IH-777S-21ib - 21oz Selvedge Denim Slim Tapered Cut Jeans - Indigo/Black
-
Looking forward @Oaktavia

@Mickey GT
Better hurry up and get yourself a pair
They might not be continous production! -
Thanks for your advice, @Daniel San - highly appreciated. Honestly speaking my new winter project is already "in stack": the BS69xSOP420. I usually only have one denim in the heavy rotation.
Others are buying denims twice a month - but from my point of view that's not the philosophy of wearing (high quality) denims where fades and strong evolution are desired. I fully concentrate on one pair for at least half a year (and more). So if the 777S-21ib is not in stock after my BS69xSOP420 is worn for at least 6-12 months: bad luck.

@Daniel San so I know you've been curious about this denim. I'm on day 4 and can say they seem to breathe just as easy as the regular 21oz. There are already early signs of fading in the usual spots. I think these will be fast faders with high contrast. Really comfortable and feel amazing as per usual. I'm hooked on these and my other jeans are going to have to watch from the sidelines

@Oaktavia
thank you for your first impressions !
I didn’t pulled the trigger, and now they are gone in my size
so I hope they will return one day or I go for the 634 maybe
keep posting the evo , very interesting how they will fade -
@Oaktavia did you get your usual size in these? I'm curious about how the rise is on them compared to 634. Seems like I could do a 35 or 36 in a 777 cut. But I would be going for the 14 oz double indigo.

I think on a good day my true waist is 35"-35.5" but I feel more comfortable in a 36". I asked the brohs when I ordered to find the smallest size 36 they could find. So what I have been saying to those who ask is that I size up but just slightly. More like half a size up than a full size.
The rise is lower on these 777 than the 634 but not so low that it causes crowding down under the belt.
The 14oz double indigo looks so nice. I hope they end up making a western shirt version of it like the 295. That would be a rad af trifecta of ib, bb and ii.
-
@Oaktavia @sabergirl thanks! I guess a size 36 is a safe bet. I know I could do a size 35 in those 634-19L. But I don't like the yoke to sit too low because it digs into my asset.
-
I imagine that might be less of an issue for those of you with less ASSets.

Yes this rings true…I have no ASSets to speak of!

Picked these up in my new favorite fit, a sized up 777.
Very happy with the fit and gotta say after a day Of hard wear already seeing some electric blue…
Also wearing 11oz tee with mustard hunting vest… -
Hell yeah dude
Now we can both fade and compare the 21oz and 25oz ibs!
I’ll probably end up grabbing some of the 19oz’ers too -
Awesome start dude love this fit on you @Oaktavia
Wanted to add - are you gonna keep these unwashed as long as possible? (Unwashed beyond being one washed so far)
-
@RoxRocks86 thanks I like the fit too - and yes as long as possible without washing this pair. At 26 days today so still a long ways to go unless a pants catastrophe happens.
Have you been wearing yours lately?
-
Nice. Idk how you do it being an art teacher, dog dad, & weekend hiker but you sure know how to keep your pair clean!
Atm wearing mines once or twice a week at most. Trying not to get them too dirty to keep them going “dry” for a bit as well. Def not gonna get any evo for a long time, but having something in rotation is keeping me sane for the time being.

I'm constantly looking for dirt or stains lol same with my 14ozbb shirt it's a daily struggle with lint rollers galore. I keep telling myself they'll lighten up…eventually. also we haven't started painting yet this year so that may change.
Good to hear yours are getting some wears too!
