holy smokes that OD Slubby type 3 is unbelievable ???
@Giles , when will they be available ? -
So @Nkwkfld: how's this compare to other IH jackets for sizing/fit? I have an XL in the IH-526J and think that comparable sizing would be good here based on specs. Your photos (plus the urging of @Kasi) have pushed me over the edge and I'm ordering one of these this next week
You won’t regret it. The relatively lighter weight by IH standards makes this a really useful piece for layering, especially as the weather hopefully warms up over the next few months. The design is what’s great though, as the pleats and pockets (and lack of hand warmer pockets) let the fabric do the work. It’s intricate rather than showy. Great fun to wear.
I went medium, same as my uhf and 526 size, and one up from my small N1. I’m really happy with the cut of this. Works for me over a t or a uhf, and can still fit under my N1 too.

Thank you G
Count me in for one -
I am a XL in the type 3
I went with a size XL in type 2..
Measure the type 3 go from there, drop a crew a message.
I think XL is your size.

Thank you @Kasi & @Nkwkfld!!! I compared the dims from the (now extinct) IH-526J that I have and the chest is about .5" smaller and that's fine. I mostly need the sizing for my height and this looks to be perfect to the very last. I love how you've described it, @Nkwkfld. Sounds like my kinda jacket. Plus, as @Giles knows, my wife is adamant about moving to L.A. in the next 18 months or so. Having more of an "all weather" layer will be nice to have so I can keep wearing IH lol

This jacket is great. Fit is good for me as well. I especially prefer the larger front pockets as a cell phone, amongst other things, fits in it with ease. Plus I really like the slubby denim.

I'm digging the bottom two buttons look, @ROman. Looks rly good with the hickory, too.

@henry_david what size ya end up going with? I'm looking to snag this or the Lefty 19oz, and I gather the cut of this jacket is intended to be a little less formed than a type 3
