Indigo Invitational Y3

I got a bunch of acrylic paint on a pair of XHSbb last year and used rubbing alcohol to get it out. Did not damage the denim and after lots of coaxing, removed the paint. Just used little amounts of it, it helped loosen the paint spots and I was able to use a metal pick to remove it, bit by bit. Took the better part of an hour but they are paint-free now @RoxRocks86

The home stretch to a one year wear! Might have missed a handful days due to vacation in really hot weather or pool days.

@GardenState Did you opt for the 019 relaxed taper fit? It's honesty the only pbj cut I can get my around my thighs.

good idea James
will start wearing my 666 sbg when it’s getting warmer. now it’s still xhs time -
Here’s my year 3 pair after a fresh wash this morning. I’m contemplating wearing a pair of 555-03 I have on ice after the comp. Or maybe save and wear it for year 4. I wore a 21 oz 777 for year 2 and some of those hot days were rough. We’ll see. Worst case, i got a pair of 14 oz Schaefer’s Garment Hotel jeans that will finally get some wear. -
Last two pairs I’ve been torn with when and how much to wash. First washed has been around the 6 month mark and then about every 2-3 weeks in hot water. I always want to wait longer but I love when the color starts to pop after washes. And also the cleanliness thing. Here’s a side by side of new and around 8 washes.
-
@indigogera great contrast, looks pretty cool.... My pair got one soak and one maschine wash but the second wash is just around the corner...
-
@Fades-for-future nice! I’ll wash at least one more time. Maybe two by the finish line. Last wash will be right before the last submission pic. I feel like you can see the details better when the denim is flat after a wash versus when it’s lived in and creased up. Less shadow.
-
@indigogera totally agreed, flat pics are way better to see the details in my opinion... Couldn't do the full 365 days due to a really crazy heat wave but all in all i'm happy with the result so far.... Will also throw it again in the washing machine before i do the final Pics
