I've just been lurking around here for awhile and figured I'd give back.
These are my first pair of IH, and what really sold me on sticking with them in the future. I had my eyes set on some 634XHSib initially but figured some time in the classic material would be the best introduction to the brand. What prompted this is that my new pair of XHSib showed up this week.
These have about a year of wear on them, the biggest contribution to them is working at a cabinet shop.
I machine wash them with no spin and cold water with mild detergent, machine dry to about 80% of the way dry then hang for the remainder.

@Denim-n-dust – Those are just wonderful. Well-loved and well-worn is the best. That 21oz denim is what sold me on IH and has kept me coming back. Currently working on some XHS so def stoked to hear what you think of the XHS especially with the indigo/black treatment.

For the time being I'm going to keep beating on these at work until they're pretty much toasted, I'll probably throw up another round of pictures once I remove them from daily use. The XHSib, I can tell already, are going to take a good bit of time to get broken in to where I would want to wear them to work all day. I'll definitely throw up progress shots of those too.

Great jeans @Denim-n-dust The pocket sashiko is stunning.

Thanks @neph93. That was definitely my first attempt at sashiko, but it felt like the best way to reinforce that pocket. I like it for now, but I may practice a bit more and redo it in the future. I like how it's not a huge commitment, since it's a running stitch I can pull it off in a few minutes and start over.

I intended to ask if it was your work. Brilliant. I do my own repairs but I fix my denim like I do most things. So the results are normalt effective but I make it up as I go along. Need to learn how to do this as I think it looks spectacular. Thanks for the inspiration.

Glad you're inspired by it. I just picked up a kit on Amazon on a whim and just sat down to figure it out, really with no experience sewing it's no more than a couple hours to pick it up. The best part about it is that even if you hate the end result you can just snip the thread and pull it all out leaving basically no signs behind. I was worried about a visible and obvious repair like that not being perfect, but honestly I think it adds some really interesting character.
