Spotted a certain Someone rocking the Purps last weekend and took the chance to take an “in the wild” shot [emoji6]
That wasn’t the wild. It was a zoo [emoji16].

Hi @mbvanek - The best option if you are unsure is to go for a custom last, even more so if you have slightly different-sized feet.
As a stock size we have only been running these up to a 12 (US), I can double check with Wesco to see if they do have the last for a 13 which would be where I would advise going if you didn't want to go down the custom last route.
So presumably a custom last would not be an issue even if it means the boots run a bit larger than stock sizing? If that is the case I will likely go the custom route. Thanks @Chesson

I ordered my size in US Redwing moc toes. I have a pair of Wesco’s that I ordered thru one of their retailers, the Gunfighter boot, but for the life of me, I can’t remember the size, I think it was 8.5, and they are a touch tight, so I went up a half size. They have stretched, but they were uncomfortable for a few months. Wes I is made in the US, it’s probably safe to assume your size in us Redwing will be your size. Now, about a Purple jacket in this beautiful leather? Lol.

These look tempting. I don’t love the colour purple but looking at the photos they seem to look different in different light. Something for me to seriously think about, but not too long. I’ve only had Viberg boots so this would be a good excuse to get another pair and try a different brand.

Love the idea of a thinner shaft for slimmer trousers. I wonder if my size 13 feet would have any issues getting into them. I have a feeling the leather would soften up eventually.

You shouldn't have any issues, the shaft is scaled appropriately for the boot size, and there is not much difference in shaft diameter between let's say a US7 and US13, but enough to make a difference that we have not had anyone say they can't get their foot in with the narrower shaft. The leather does soften up considerably as well, so getting them on an off will because easier the more you wear them.
