Yep awesome and congrats @Daniel San
@goosehd it‘s probably worth waiting -
Thank you Jens
And definitely worth waiting !!
Now I need the black buck too -
Wonderful fit @Daniel San I'm very happy for you adding this to your collection. I really like the contrasting color from the back yolk to the large back panel. Not sure if it was intended, but it really looks sharp!
Those glasses look like they were "spec'd" specifically for that outfit too.

the JMM Taos in volvox really fit perfect with the olive buck .
that’s why I absolutely needed them -
@Chap
Jens , I would like to know what you would recommend for cleaning the shirt if needed.
I have 2 little kids ( soon 3) so it is always possible that a little accident will happen
Is it really possible to wash it ? Hand wash program with cold water and special cleaner for example?
I know you are in contact with the tannery and have a superb knowledge about those sämisch deer leathers.
This could be interesting for all of the buck owners I think, not only for the olive buck.
So I would really appreciate your advice mate ! -

So I would really appreciate your advice mate !In Austria people wipe of their hands on their Lederhosen after having had a Speck Jause and don't give a f…. but I guess that's not the answer you wanted to hear?
-
looks brilliant @Daniel San
-
Speck Jause sounds great

The olive one you said? It's ok wearing it when the kids have spinach… some Kürbiskernöl from the salad? No problem... don't wear it when they have ice cream (except pistachio).
As mentioned earlier the hides are brush-dyed on the surface. Therefore spot cleaning including rubbing is no good idea. I gave mine a wash just to see what's happening. 30 degrees, no spin, flat drying. It did shrink slightly especially around the shoulders. You will have to pull it in shape during drying. No sun drying and a tumbler would kill it. The leather was less soft after the wash. I wouldn't do it again. If you have a problem with a special stain drop me a pm and will ask the tannery.

great Jens ,
thank you !!
I hope will not have to contact you in that case
as we say in german " ich hoffe der Kelch geht an mir vorbei " -
@Daniel San I hand washed my Big Buck with no ill effects. Cold water, hand wash, minimal detergent. When I took mine out of the tub, I gently laid it on a towel and blotted it dry with another dry towel to absorb excess water. At no point did I try to squeeze the water out and I kept the shirt as flat as possible during the process. It took a full day for it to dry at room temperature (no sun).
Mine is as soft and maybe just a little softer than when I first received it.
These are just my observations…
Please note: I had a knot in my stomach the entire time during this process and did it as an experiment. It worked for me, but during the process I can definitely see where it could go wrong. If you try to squeeze the leather to remove excess water or wring it dry, you will stretch the leather out of shape and there is no way (that I know of) to return it back to it's previous shape.
Please use this with caution.
