Look what Santa just dropped..
Love the color, feel and pockets! This is a bit on the generous side in terms of size, but already sized down to XL and L would have been too short for my taste. -

It’s been a wet & windy concrete jungle here. I tend to travel during winter months more than any other time of the yr so finally decided to splurge on some actual winter clothes. Will post what I got from IH once they arrive. But going on a snowboarding trip in Hokkaido next month so giving the MTE-3’s a whirl. Redwings & thick merino wool socks from DARNTOUGH wasn’t warm or dry enough for my comfort the last few trips so giving these a shot. Appreciate your input @WhiskeySandwich

@RoxRocks86 that’s a wild-ass lookin’ knife!
-
@RoxRocks86, no experience with those shoes but plenty with cold feet and skiing. Unsure if it will help you, but I finally learned after many seasons of thick socks that they ended up trapping and retaining more moisture and resulted in cold feet. I know it's semi against the rules in tight fitting ski boots, but I found the thinnest silk liner sock I could find and wore those under the thinnest darn tough ski sock they made. After that, no more problems. On warmer days I'd just wear the silk liners. Dry feet were the key. Some people even go so far as buying spray antiperspirant for their feet before putting on socks. Ymmv!
Lastly, korvid knife?

What a classic beauty.Confente is the Iron heart of bikes
"In the world of vintage bicycles, there’s beautifully crafted, and there’s rare, and then there’s Confente. A name lesser known in the general cycling community but one that elicits a special reverence from collectors and enthusiasts. Confentes are the type of bikes that people tend to wax poetic about. They’ll call Confente the “Holy Grail” of vintage bicycles, and draw comparisons to the likes of Stradivari. Perhaps all a bit hyperbolic but, among the hoards of vintage bicycles, Confente frames are truly the rarest of the rare. Their builder, Mario Confente, died at the young age of 34, having produced only 135 frames bearing his name. They command a high price, the combination of rarity, excellent craftsmanship, and perhaps also the drama and tragedy surrounding Mario Confente’s work and death all working together to drive the value for his frames higher with time“

There was a sample made in Indigo Wabash too, but never hit the shelves due to production issues.
