City will not win the league with PG playing that stupid sweeper-keeper nonesense.
It's too easy to nullify by pressing high up the pitch, where inevitably the keeper will try and play out from the back & make a mistake, or pass it to the defender who then comes under pressure. Bravo is a liability, as is Stones. You can see how both keeper & defender get flustered when being pressed, resulting in what they should have done in the first place and play it up the pitch. We saw this against Leicester. At one point Stones had the ball on his own goal-line with Vardy pressing him, & Slamani on the keeper. Resulting in the ball being hoofed up the pitch. The EPL is too fast, & PG is being found out.In the UK keepers & defenders are not trained, from a young age, to piss about on their own 18yd line. They are in those positions because they are not skillfull enough with their feet. Let the keeper concentrate on stopping the ball going in the net, & let defenders defend.
The system can be played if you're in a league where the game is played at a glacial pace, (Germany, Spain, Italy), with defenders who are comfortable playing out with the ball at their feet.

Rafa is quality. It pleases me that he's found a club where he obviously feels at home again. Looking forward to seeing him and N'castle back in the Prem.

He is an absolute gift for us, only the fat idiot tat shop retailer could mess this up

And lets be honest, that is sadly a distinct possibility.

Barca and Dortmund lost tonight? Excellent! And what a spectacular performance by P$G! Very well deserved win!
PSG gave Barcelona a spanking and I enioyed every minute of it.

Same old story for the Gunners. Once the sharp end of the season arrives they fall apart with unerring regularity. I bet Wenger wishes he still had Henry, Bergkamp and Pires…

Not sure if anyone saw this prime example of a sportsman the other night?

Seems like everyone is upset by the Ranieri sacking…

They were never going to be the same this season, but this definitely isn't the way it should have ended.
Hadn't heard anything about them getting Allardyce, that'll be the nail in the coffin if it happens.
