TBH I don't really know. They must have reasons, and it's certainly an important and difficult job, given all the changes that have come and that are still necessary. What I find problematic is the blocking of public life (to a certain extend). You surely have a right to state your opinion (within limits here, thankfully) and to demonstrate, but IMO this goes a bit to far sometimes. Here it felt like. What was good, the rightwing suckers tried to jump on the train (or tractor) and the farmers didn't let them.
-
Without getting too political and going into too much detail, the coalition government has to resubmit the budget and, due to budgetary restraints, two separate subsidies for farmers were going to be cut. The cuts have since been reversed for the most part, but the protests went ahead regardless. In general, more a result of not feeling respected, ever increasing bureaucracy and dirt cheap food prices making it difficult to earn a living (for some)

Interesting. Thanks for sharing your take on the situation, gentleman. Hopefully the protest and inconvenience resulted in some improvements. Sounds as though it may have even before the inconvenience was necessary…at least @endo got to drive that sweet electric ride share vehicle.

@endo the jacket fits all your outfits amazing and using this much loved brand which brings so many people together for making a statement against rightwing sh*theads is just perfect!

thank you @FlavourFade - love, peace and FCKNZS

On Wednesdays I'm usually not in my practice but go on visits to nursing homes. This allows for a later start and gives me the chance to go early on our local market, where I meet with my friend Willi. He is also my pastor and my brother-in-law (at least if Mrs E and I were married). We have a chat and a nice coffee from a local coffee roaster who sell his coffee from an old ape, which you can spot in the back of the picture. Today it was bloody cold again (-2°C/28°F) but we had our loughs. Have a great day!

Amazing how this jacket seems to fit almost every style! Love your kit @endo

@Aetas No, sorry. Winterly NoGer is not really the best habitat for this beauty. Wish I'd have had my leg in spring or summer. Now I'm torn between passing it on to the next one (@scooter I think) or awaiting at least the first days of spring here. But that could take some time. Should I sent it on?

@CutlasshoundMy thinking is that a newer forum member gets it first. Good opportunity for to show off and for the tour to start somewhere most of us haven’t seen before. DD is up in Norway too (even further north than me), so it is a quick change over. From me down to the Netherlands and into Deutschland. Then over the Atlantic, across the US and over the Pacific and finally back home to the UK.
I’m thinking everyone should have it for a strict 30 days (shipping time doesn’t count).
Any questions/issues?

@endo I received a note that Scott @scooter is a bit tied up with work and would like to be skipped if possible (for now) and I was wondering if @jordanscollected @mclaincausey or @sabergirl would like to take a run at it. We can add Scott back into the mix as soon as time and work permits or how the schedule works out.
Let me know who wants to go next.
Thank you!
