Hi All,
First time posting on here! Recently discovered IH Shirts and I've fallen in love with them.
Looking for abit of advice here, recently snatched an UHF Crazy Check which is gorgeous. Only issue I'm still debating on size.
I went for XL, but I'm still debating whether a L would be better for me. I also have a Chambray in L which fits perfectly. However, I aired on the side of caution with the UHF to account for possible shrinkage. I'd say the L in the UHF would be how I'd want it to fit long term.
So, in your opinion would you recommend I stick with XL or switch to L and risk the shrink.
Thanks in advance.

@Supersonic Pictures would help tremendously...

@joephoto Hi bud, as you can see from my post below I've recently snatched one of these and I'm looking for some advice on the sizing still.
I can see you've got a fair few posts, so imagine your OG when it comes to IH.
Would appreciate your input if you have experience with the UHFs!

@goosehd Will upload a couple shortly. I mean, I reckon in between the two would be ideal. So if it shrinks half a size in the right places it would probably be spot on. Will post some pictures shortly! Thanks for the reply just now.

@Supersonic shrinkage will occur in the vertical direction but not the horizontal direction. With a 30deg wash there will be a centimeter or less shrinkage in the arms and length. Note that creasing in the sleeves also shortens them.
-
@Supersonic I have quite a few UHF's and wash them all the same with a cold wash, little to no spin, and hung to dry. I have had very little shrinkage using that method.
Hope it helps.

Please find pictures below, unsure whether to size down to L rather than XL.
-
@Supersonic looks just right to me, with a touch of room to spare so no fret of shrinkage.
-
@Supersonic You could size down to the large but then you would need to watch how you wash and dry it.
-
@Supersonic I think it looks great, I'd keep the XL.
-
The main thing is the shoulders look good and the sleeves and torso have enough length. Nothing irks me more on a shirt that holding my arms out in front of me (like i'm ridin' a chopper, baby) and my wrists hanging out of the cuff. you could probably pull off a large if you wanted it to fit slim-n-trim
-
If it's any consultation, I'm likely to wear this open more often then not... decisions decisions.
-
@Supersonic size down if you’re going to wear it open. It will fit better in the arms and shoulders if you do.
-
Thanks guys! Gonna exchange for the Large!

I'll just be super careful when it comes to a wash, e.g. cold wash and limited spin. It's a blessing and a curse finding this brand. Such amazing quality though.

@Supersonic OG? You mean Original Goofball? I know what sizes work for me for my body shape. I am in XXXL right now because of my body shape. So while I have room in my chest measurements where an XXL would fit, my waist is probably still an XXXL in shirts.
I have one other UHF and gave it a 30 degree wash and let it air dry. Negligible shrinkage and I wouldn't risk much more as I'm tall and I hate when shirts are too short. As everyone says, measure your best fitting shirt or jeans and go from there. Not everything is always going to work out for you.

@joephoto thanks man! Appreciate you taking the time to drop some advice, I'll risk the Large to obtain the fit I'm after. Then just take it proper easy when the wash comes!
