Thanks! This denim fades beautifully.

Yeah, @xtcclassic, those look soo good. I wanted to pick some up from the warehouse sale, but I shied away from the skinny thighs. I'll have to admire yours from afar.

Despite these being sanforized, they do shrink a fair bit. At least mine did. I don't know specifically how much, because I wasn't expecting any shrink and therefore didn't take any pre-wash measurements, but it was enough for me to immediately notice as soon as I put them on. I'm sure you'll get at least a half inch in the waist, just soak in hot water, inside out, and make sure to give them some agitation.

Thanks, I wanted to get as much shrinkage I could get before I get them tapered via railcar.

Today is the first full day I've worn my new SExIHxLSxA13's which I picked up from the SE sale. I've got to say first impressions are that these are really lightweight compared to my MBB's which have been my exclusive pair more or less for the last ~18 months. The fit is going to take some time to get adjusted to them, they seems almost high rise in the front and low rise in the rear. I gave them a hot shower soak to try to take some of the slack out the waist which helped although they are still somewhat loose. I'm looking forward to getting some good wear out of these and I'll try to post some updates later on.

I picked some up from QuePasa as well. I'm also getting used to the fit. Did they shrink much? I picked up the 28's and they barely work, I want to break them in before soaking to stretch them out a bit. However I need to soak prior to getting them hemmed since the 38 inseam is too long. I'm fairly new to raw denim, this is the heaviest pair I own, what do you recommend I do soak wise?

Soak inside out in hot water with plenty of agitation. The 23oz denim is the Mogwai of denim btw. Once it is exposed to water, it becomes something entirely less soft and cuddly. But it will soften up after a day's wear.

Two days a week for almost two years now, give or take. Maybe 8 washes?

Looking good and they compliment the 55 very well!

A few images from the HWDC2 final submission thread on SuFu:
Still plenty of life left in these, I look forward to many more years in rotation with my other IH, Samurai, Strike Gold, and PBJ denim.

Yeah, me too. I wish the 666S-II had tonal stitching, that would be my next pair for sure. Oh well, I have plenty of denim (including this pair) to keep me busy for quite a while.

Anybody have a size 35,or 36 they are willing to trade for a 33?
PLEASE?
-
^Good luck, @atm23 I hope you find a pair, this denim may be my favorite IH denim (admittedly I've only experienced this denim, the 25oz, and the 21oz, and my favorite is usually whatever I'm currently wearing because all three are so awesome). I wore mine yesterday for the first time in a while (still trying to make a dent in my 666-XHS), and was once again amazed by how great they are.

Me too. These are my favorite jeans. I bought two pairs both in the same size (W33). The pair I have been wearing is tight and experiencing some serious crotch blowout. The other is completely DS. I have found a sz 34 but I don't know if that is big enough because I just bought the 633S-II in a W38. Those fit great!
Do you guys know of anybody that can take two jeans and make a completely new pair? I have contacted RailCar, IndigoProof, etc…
Or if any of you have a 35 or 36 you're willing to trade, please let me know asap, am am willing to add cash. Thanks.
If anybody needs a never-worn sz W33 let me know too.
